Chapter 16

This was it. Mine and Lukes day. We would finally be a couple. Forever till the day we die.

I was in the backroom letting Aubrey do my make-up and Amber fix my hair.

"Guys I'm freaking out. What if I trip or or-" I said as they continued fiddling with my face.

"It's gonna be okay." Amber said.

I nodded my head as they backed off and walked over to my dress hanging on the door.

I unzipped the bag and took it out putting it on then Aubrey zipped it up.

"You look stunning. Lukes gonna die." Amber said grinning as she picked up her brides maid dress.

The girls put on their dresses and shoes and we sat by the door.

"It's time." my grandmother said walking in. The girls nodded and walked out as I stood their with my grandmother.

"I have something for you Kathryn." she said with her hands behind her back.

"Grandma no. You didn't have too." I said and she smiled. "But I wanted too."

She showed me a box. I opened it and inside was a beautiful veil and a necklace.

"It was your mothers." she said taking them out and putting them on me.

"I'm going to sit down now. I love you and I wish you and Luke the best."

"Thank you grandma." I said hugging her before she walked out.

I stood infront of the door as I heard the song.

I started to push the door open when I felt someone grab my arm.

I looked over and saw my dad.

"Why are you here?" I whisper yelled at him.

"I want to make everything okay. I'm going to walk you down the aisle, give him the oh- famous- dad- talk, then I'll leave. No funny business." he said and looked sincere.

"Fine." I said and he smiled.

"Are you ready?" He asked me.

"Yes." I said and we pushed open the door walking in.

Everyone on my sides mouths dropped when they saw my father.

The guys all looked like they were about to explode. They all stayed where they were though.

My dad let go of my arm at the alter and went and sat down.

The preacher made the whole long speech finishing it off with

"Do you Luke take Kathryn to be your wife?"

"I do" Luke smiled.

"And do you Kathryn take-"

I cut him off "I do."

Then Lucas came down the aisle with our rings.

We both hugged him and took the rings slipping them on eachothers fingers.

"You may now kiss the bride."

And me and Luke kissed and the room was full of aws as me Luke and Lucas walked back down the aisle heading to the reception area.

We got to the reception area and it was huge. The lights were blue and purple and it had a huge dance floor already full of our family.

I started off dancing with my dad, while Luke was with his mom. Then I had to dance with Ben and Jack, then finally me and Luke got to dance.

I felt kinda bad cause I stepped all over everyone's feet.

After dancing we cut the cake and my dad and Luke were talking. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be with him here. It was almost like what it used to be before he went crazy.

The only thing I really wished for was my mother.
