Kat's POV
A few weeks later Luke and I talked about adopting Lucas for his birthday. Luke and I know that we are young and stuff but Lucas likes it here, we love him, the boys love him and he doesn't have anyone else. Lucas's birthday is in two weeks, so we have to get started on this. "Kat where are you and Luke going?" Lucas said as we were walking out the door. "We are going to go shopping but Calum is going to watch you. Okay?" Luke said looking at me. "Oh okay." then we walked out of the door. When we got to the car I told Luke "I really hate lieing to him." I said all depressed. "I know you do but it's for the best." Luke said making me feel better.
*Two weeks later*
We have all of the paperwork done so now we just have to wait. Lucas woke me and Luke up jumping on to our bed saying "Wake up it's me birthday! Wake up it's me birthday! " He woke us up and everyone else. Luke and I got out of bed and I started to make breakfast for Lucas. "What do you want for breakfast?" I asked him. "M-me wa-want monster-face p-pancakes." He said laughing because Luke was tickling him. He's so great with kids. I made them breakfast and went over to Luke saying "Well today is the day. You ready?" "Yeah I'm ready. I can't wait till I see his face when we ask him." "Yeah same." I said laughing a little.
"Come on everyone we have to go." I said. We all got in the car and drove to the court house. When we got there Lucas was confused because we told him we were going to take him to Chuck e Cheese. It wasn't a lie, we are just after we stoped here. "Why are we here I thought we weregoing to Chuck e Cheese?" Lucas said with his head tilted. "We are just there's one more suprise before we go there." Aston said. "Oh okay then. Is the suprise for me?" He said still tilting his head. "Is it your birthday?" Luke said and everyone laughed even Lucas. "Yes it is." He said still laughing. "Well then it's your suprise." I said.
We got inside the court house and the judge was waiting for us. "He's ready for you." the front desk lady said. We all followed her back to the reall court room. An hour passedd and Lucas still didn't know what was happening untill Luke and I came over to him and said that we would like to adopt him and he ran around the room yelling "YAY I HAVE A NEW FAMILY YAY YAY YAY! AND I CAN START TO CALL YOU MUM AND DAD NOW! " We all laughed and the judge said "So i'm taking that as a yes?" He said and Lucas said "Yes." We got everythng Lucas had to sign, signed and then said our goodbyes and thank-yous and left.
