(YAY double digits)
I called the investigator back and he told me that it was a shot to the head so she wasn't tourchered(idk how to spell it) and she had died instantly and didn't suffer. But I thought differently, she did suffer, she was dead and nothing he said could change that.
I laid in bed all day and didn't eat anything. No one messed with me so I guess Luke told them what had happened.

Next day------------------------
I got up and decided to call what little family my mother and I had left. Not that any of them cared, if they cared they would have called more, or realized what was happening with her and that man that was my father, but I would never call him that ever.
The first person I called was my grandmother. She was always my favorite relative and always called more than anyone else and I was dreading this phone call.
I finished calling everybody and decided that I had to go make some arrangements for her funeral. I called the place she had a grave spot reserved at back home in South Alabama near my grandmothers home, and they told me that they could fly her back and my grandmother said she would finish the arrangements so that left nothing for me to do till it was time to fly back home.
I stayed in bed most of the time not eating or doing anything really but sleeping, watching TV, crying, and only getting up to go to the restroom. Every now and then people would come check on me and bring me food but I just wasn't hungry. Michael even brought me Seaseme chicken, Amber brought me a funnel cake, what I ate at the carnival when we first met, and Luke brought my favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip, but I just didn't want anything.
"Luke I need you to drop me off at the mall, please." I said talking for the first time in three days. "Okay, let's go." he said grabbing his car keys off the rack. "Do you want me to fly back with you?" He said once we were in the car. "That would help a lot." I said looking at him. He nodded and pulled into the parking lot.
You know you're depressed when even shopping doesn't make you feel better. I just walked around aimlessly buying things that I thought looked nice together humming to whatever music that shop had playing. Not even caring about the price just grabbing something and trying it on quickly then hearing Luke complain about my losing weight so quickly and grabbing something a size smaller then buying it.
"I'm serious Kat this isn't good you need to eat." he said pulling up to mc Donald's. "I don't like Mc Donalds can we go to Panda Express." I said flatly and Luke smiled.b"I will go anywhere as long as you will eat." he said pulling down the road to the Panda Express.
After eating my chicken we drove back to the apartment and started packing so we could leave in the morning. I wasn't prepared for any of this, my family complaining about my new appearance, my aunt trying to get me to stay in America with her, Luke didn't know but she had already called me trying to talk me into it, it wasn't gonna happen. I wasn't moving back to that small town, just to become another nothing. I was going to be like my mother and make a life for myself.
I asked Michael to redye my hair cause my roots were starting to show. And he said he would and he did it that night before me and Luke left.

"I'm really gonna miss you, and I'm so so so sorry." Amber said hugging me tightly. "If i had my paycheck I would go and you know it." she said sadly and I knew she was sincere. I hugged all of the boys them saying their sorrys. And Ashton drove us to the airport.
The whole airplane ride Luke held my hand rubbing it with his thumb, I guess he thought I was nervous. When we got to the airport I saw my cousin who was a few years older than me and very close to my mom. "Are you okay? Oh my gosh your hair." She said as she hugged me. "Not really, but I will be. It's a long story." I said pulling away. "This is Luke my boyfriend, mom really liked him." I said pointing at Luke and they shook hands. "I'm Caitlyn." she said grinning and Luke grabbed our bags leading us out to her dads old truck, that I remember riding in the bed of to go to the beach. Luke threw our bags in the bed and I got in the middle with Luke and Caitlyn on the outsides.
We drove back to my grandmothers house on the familiar dirt roads I knew so well, and we pulled up to the small house I saw how quiet it was outside, that was so unnatural, normally my grandmother and younger cousins were outside. I guess if I didn't know what had happened I would've when we pulled up. I walked in and my grandmothers jaw dropped. "What did you do to your hair?! And who's this?" She said hugging me then pointing at Luke. "That's Luke, my boyfriend." I said and my grandmother smiled and hugged him and Luke hugged back. "Nice to meet you, Mrs.-" she cut him off. "Don't call me Mrs. Anything call me grandma or Lena." she said smiling at him and Luke nodded. She showed us to our room and Luke put the bags in the room. We came out and had my favorite dinner, cube steak, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and biscuits. True comfort food. It was the most I had eaten in weeks, and I guess my grandmother cooked it because she also saw that I had lost weight. It was funny to watch Luke eat it cause he had never had anything like it. It was true southern food, something I missed deeply.
The next morning I got up and got ready for my mothers funeral. Luke kept hugging me and telling me that things would be alright.
Let's just say the day was full of tears.

A/N I'm not going to write about the funeral because I've had enough of that in the past 3 months to last me a life time. If you have lost someone or some people close to you than you wouldn't feel comfortable writing this either. I just couldn't do it physically.

So I have a funny story. Yep I do live in the south and we have quite a few tornadoes. we were doing a memorial for my aunt and all of the sudden there's a tornado warning. If you've ever been through something like this u know it rains a lot before it happens. Well my little brother and sister were across the yard with some other family and my parents flip out saying that we have to go over there and get in their storm cellar cause they want to be with my siblings. So I'm running across the yard in nice clothes during a tsunami, sobbing now cause I'm scared and what was just going on and I'm soaked and freezing cold. So then I have to go down into a dark storm cellar with 3 inches of water in the bottom. My new boots were soaked and all of it for nothing no tornado came.
That was what happened to me this weekend, pretty depressing, how was ur weekend. Hope it was better than mine.
Wish me luck I start at my new school on Tuesday. Luh u guys.
