Chapter 7

My mouth was so dry. I just woke up, and no one was here. I just laid there cause my foot felt really numb, after a while I was tired and no one came so I just went back to sleep.
The next morning I woke up to see Luke holding my hand and crying looking at the floor. "Luke." I whispered. "Why are you crying?" He looked up and his face lit up. "Oh my god, you're awake the doctor said you might not wake up." he said leaning down to kiss my forehead. "I woke up last night." I said and his face dropped. "I woke up and no one was here so I just went back to sleep." I said shrugging. "I'm so sorry. the doctor said I couldn't stay unless I was family." he said frowning. "Don't worry about it. When can I leave?" I said and he laughed. "You can leave today after lunch if all the tests are good." yes I wouldn't have to stay here. "Yay, go get the doctor." I said shoeing him out.
He came back with the doctor who drew some blood.
About an hour later
"Okay Miss. Adams you are free to go home." the doctor said smiling at me. "I brought you some clothes, but you have to change when we get home because I bought you a dress and I'm taking you out." Luke said handing me some sweatpants and a t-shirt. "Why?" I said as we got out and he opened the car door for me. "It's a secret." He said smirking as he got in. When we got to the apartment and walked in all of the guys and Amber screamed "Kat!!!"
I smiled and Luke said "Nope she's mine tonight I'm taking her out on a date." he said and all the guys said oh. but Amber got all excited and said "Oh I'm gonna do your hair and makeup." and jumped off the couch running to the bathroom and pulling out a curling wand and makeup box.
I went to my room and saw a beautiful blue and white striped dress with a sweet heart neckline. "Do you like it?" Luke said hopefully. "Yes! It's gorgeous!" I squealed hugging him. "Okay you can get ready in the bathroom, I'll get changed in here." he said handing me my stuff. I walked out and saw Amber walking into the bathroom. "I'm just going to plug in my curling wand and you can get dressed." she said unwrapping the cord and plugging it in. "Okay! Hurry get dressed!" She said walking out. I got dressed trying not to fall over, I was still a little dizzy from the medicine they gave me at the hospital. Luke probably made a bad choice buying me heels. Amber walked in and said "Wow, you look great."
"Thanks I just wish I had some jewelry I had to leave it when I moved here." I said sadly. "Oh yeah, while you were gone I moved in with Ash, maybe there's some in my box that you can borrow." she said picking up the curling wand and starting to do my lavender hair in loose ringlets. I started doing my makeup while she did my hair. I did a nude pink lip gloss then for my eyeshadow I did a smokey eye, it looked pretty good. After we finished that we went into Ashton's room and Amber walked over to a jewelry box on his dresser and opened it pulling out a teal and white necklace with little jewels on it, it was so pretty and really close to the same blue as my dress. "Thank you." I said putting on my shoes and hugging her. "No problem I love doing stuff like this." she said happily I was glad we met her at the fair.
As I walked out all the boys mouth dropped and I said "Once again take a picture it will last longer." and Calum said "Okay." and tried to take a picture again. "I don't get it." Amber said. "I'll explain later." Ashton said Luke looked amazing he wearing his usual black skinny jeans and vans, but he wAs wearing a teal button up the same color as my dress and his hair was up in its usual quiff. "Are you ready?" He said grabbing my hand and lacing our fingers together. "Yeah." I said smiling as we walked out. As we were walking out the front door he said "You look beautiful." and I blushed. "Thanks I guess you look okay." I said sarcastically and he looked hurt. "I'm just kidding." I said smiling. He opened my door and waited for me to get in before shutting the door and running around the front of the car, but he didn't make it he tripped over the curb. I jumped out. "Oh my god, Luke are you okay?!" I screamed running over to him. "Yeahhhhh" he groaned sitting up. "Good job, Doctor. Fluke." I said pulling him up "Any time Kit-Kat" he said opening my door and walking around the car this time. "Soooooooo, where are we going?" I asked "Its a surprise." he said smirking. "ughhhhhhhh your so mean." I said crossing my arms. "Okay we're here." he said pulling up to a big building. "This looks like a banquet hall." I said. "Maybe it is." he said jumping out and opening my door and grabbing my hand and walking me into the building. We took an elevator to the top floor and then went out to the balcony and it over looked the ocean. "Oh my god, this is beautiful." I said and saw a table and it had a white table cloth and two white plates, and in the center was a small vase with a single rose in it. "Luke! This must've cost you a fortune." I upset that he spent so much. "Don't worry about it." he said pulling me over to a table telling me to sit down. he sat across from me and a waiter brought out two waters and we thanked him. "I have something to ask you." Luke said shyly. "I was wondering if... um if you would be my girlfriend." he said and I could feel my smile get huge. "Yes Luke, I would love that." I said as he came around to hug me, and he leaned down and to kiss me. It was soft and sweet, not sloppy and fast. He put his hands on my hips pulling me into him. i put my hands behind his neck and started playing with his hair. "I got you something." he said smirking after we pulled away. "Luke you shouldn't have done all this." I said but I knew he would disagree. "See when I met you, you were repeatedly surprising me, now I see right through you." He said smirking and reaching into his pocket and pulling out a box. "Close your eyes." he said smiling. I did what he said I felt him walk behind me and put something cold and metal around my neck. "Open." he said I looked down and saw a music note with the center as a heart. "Luke, you're making me feel bad I don't have anything for you." I said pouting. "I believe the correct response was thank you." he said sarcastically. "Thank you." I said kissing his cheek.
We sat down and ate dinner, which was so good, and decided to go walk on the beach before going home. We just walked in silence, we didn't have to say anything. Like in those romance movies where you think how stupid they're just sitting there being quiet, now I understood that.
As we started to walk back to the car Luke said, "Crap, I forgot my wallet, wait here." and he ran back to the banquet hall. That's when I saw them. Three people in black a smaller one looked like a woman, and two bulkier ones which I knew were men. That's when I knew Chelsea was gonna catch me. I turned around to run but there was another man there who grabbed me. He put a rag to my mouth and I passed out.

A/N oh my god two cliffhangers in a row someone's probably gonna kill me.
