When Davina reached outside, in front of her was a black Mercedes Benz. Eliot rushed in front of her to open the door for her, like the true gentleman he is. But this causes Davina to stop straight in her tracks. Eliot looked at her in confusion.
"What's your deal?" Davina asks. Eliot stood up straight with his eyebrow cocked up in confusion,"What I mean is why were you so rough with Nadia and opening car doors for me?"
"Davina, Davina. My mum raised a gentleman. I apologise for your little friend but she could get annoying at times. And I like you... as a person of course." Eliot smiles. Davina scoffs. Her little friend. Her little friend, Nadia that he tortured and all she got for that was she could get annoying at times. Davina steps in the car and sits down, still scared Eliot could switch off his nice boy act any second. Eliot closed the door and Davina observes a driver and guard in the front. That could only mean that Eliot would be sitting next to Davina, which caused her to get anxious. What if she slips up and says something that gets him mad.
He slips in the back, his head nearly touching the roof of the car. Once he signals the driver with a nod, the car starts and starts moving. Davina didn't know what to do or say so she just looked out the window. In her corner of her eye, she notices him looking at her. She feels him looking at her. Her breathing increases. What is he planning? What should she do? Finally she turns her head to look back at him and he doesn't look away. His curly messy hair matches the defined shape of his face.
If he was somewhat unattractive maybe Davina would be less intimidated but to Davina, he looked perfect. Not a single flaw. She decides to focus on the crap personality instead.
"What?" She asks.
"Nothing." He replies.
"Why are you looking at me?" She asks
"No reason." He replies.
"There has to be a reason." She says.
"Nope." He replies.
She looks at him in annoyance and decides to look away, scared she'll mess up. After minutes of silence and looking outside, they finally stopped. From looking out the window, Davina could see another mansion, bigger than Darcy's. This one was more modern and different type of planting. Plus, way more guards. Everyone looked so tough while Davina was wearing sweats and a jumper.
Davina was so distracted with looking at the place she didn't notice Eliot had hopped out and traveled to her side of the car. She was interrupted by her door opening. Eliot offered his hand for her to hop out but Davina declined and got out herself. This didn't seem to effect him.
"Follow me." He demanded. So she did. He was walking with such power. Everyone she passed looked at her in disgust but looked away when Eliot gave them all a look. So Davina wasn't the only one intimidated by him. They reached the front door, where someone opened it for them. A scoff nearly escaped Davinas mouth. Did he really need someone to do that for him?
They stepped inside and admiration filled Davina for the interior design. When they walked in, the room opened to a big space that looked to be just to hang out, with a pool table and couches with tables next to them. In the corner she saw a sneaky little bar. Eliot kept walking to the left and they passed the kitchen where chefs were at work. Can't cook for himself either. They kept walking until he reached a stair case and he walked up that too. Where was he taking her? Davina had no choice but to follow the man.
Upstairs was amazing. It was open with windows that reached from ceiling to floor. The view over looked a lake, where people were hanging around. Eliot kept walking into another hallway and finally stopped in front of a door. He opened it and motioned Davina to enter.
Inside was a lovely bedroom with white walls with calm paintings hanging off them. The room was filled with a bed, dressing table and couch. It was a normal sized room, smaller than the one at Darcy's. Davina was confused. What was she doing here? Isn't she supposed to be in a creepy basement right now all tied up?
"What is this?" Davina questions. Eliot laughs.
"It's a bedroom. You know what that is right?" He laughs.
"Of course I know what a bedroom is. What are we doing here. Aren't you supposed to take me and tie me up in the basement?" Davina questioned why she had brung it up, maybe he'll change his mind and take her to the basement now.
"Well as I said, you're an honourable woman. People like that don't deserve to get tied up. Unless that's something you like?" Eliot winked and smirked at Davina. She just rolled her eyes and entered the room,"Do you like it?" Eliot questions, moving on from his previous statement. Last time Davina saw Eliot he was furious, now he's asking if she likes the room. Davina only nodded. She felt guilty that she was getting this special treatment and Nadia received the opposite.
"Ok, well, stay in here for now. I've got to talk to my people and can't let you over hear that." Eliot says goodbye, walks away and closes the door. Davina looked out the window and pondered. Had Nadia gotten back alright? Have people noticed Davina was gone? Questions with no answers.
Davina spotted some books and since she had nothing else to do, she picked up one and started reading. The sun was now shining and birds were chirping. If Davina wasn't being held here against her will then maybe she would've appreciated the day more.
An idea popped inside her head. She wasn't tied up. The window was surprisingly unlocked. She could escape tonight if she tried hard enough.
