Everyday is slower than the last. The walls were caving in on the light skin girl. If it wasn't for the kind person across from Davina, she would've lost her sanity. She didn't know how they did it. Survive in this place alone for 9 weeks... now 10 as it has been 7 days since Eliot had last seen her. There wasn't much to do except ponder. Ponder about Eliot, where was he?

Davina attempted not to care where he was but deep down she would always wonder. But the question was answered when one morning Davina looked up and saw the tall man. He was in a suit and he attempted to slick back his messy hair, but clearly failed. Davina was laying on the ground, mid sit up when she observed him. She found her way to her feet straight away.

"Hello, love." He spoke, staring at her sweating body. How attractive I must be. Davina thought.

"Don't call me that." Davina spat back. Eliot chose to ignore the statement and smirk instead. "Did you get all dressed up to see me? How nice." Davina joked.

"In a way..." He said. Davina cocked her head to the side in confusion. "I'd like for you to come with me to a wedding... as my date." Davina stepped back in shock. Was he being serious?

"Excuse me? This has got to be a joke!" She exclaimed.

"Why would it be a joke?" He said as if she wasn't being held hostage in his basement. Davina laughed in disbelief.

"Look at me. Your hostage. You want to take your hostage to a wedding as your date, how classy, Mr Hartley." Davina sarcastically said.

"Don't call me that, it's too formal. Whilst you are my hostage, you are a very pretty one. I'd like to have a pretty lady on my arm today." Eliot smirks. Davina scoffs and rolls her eyes. She wanted to say no and not give in but the thought of getting out of the cell excited her, even if it was for one day.

"I'm a mess, I haven't showered in more than a week." Davina complained.

"Then you shall have a shower, my people have picked out a dress for you." The offer was getting more and more tempting.

"Fine. I'll go, but only cause I want to get out of here." Davina gave in. Eliot let out a big smile and reached into his pocket for the key to unlock her cell. The creak of the door opening made Davina cringe, it was extremely unpleasant. Eliot raised his arm like a guard opening a door and letting the queen through. Davina stepped out and locked eyes with Charlie. She could tell they were too afraid to say anything. Davina felt horribly, she was getting let out and Charlie wasn't. Sorry Davina mouthed to them.

Eliot gently pushed Davina to start walking. It felt weird walking as there was no where to walk in that cell. She passed all the hostages and looked at them with compassion, wishing there was a way to set them free. She would've never thought this before but now she knows what it feels like and it's not too pleasant. Davina kept her head down, feeling to guilty to look at them. She kept walking until she got to the door to lead outside. Eliot swung it open for her. Sunlight struck into her eyes and she squinted at the sudden brightness. She could've hissed like a vampire.

But alas, she was grateful for the light, she stepped outside and took a deep breath of the fresh air.

"Didn't get much good air down there, did you?" Eliot asked.

"Obviously, it seems that place was designed to suck the life out of people." Davina grumbled, continuing to walk beside Eliot, who was looking down on Davina as she talked with a hint of guilt in his eyes.

"That's kind of the point. You had to be punished one way or another." Eliot said, now opening a door that led into the mansion.

"We've talked about this, any person would've done what I did." She argued back. "It's horrible down there, Eliot." The way his name slipped out of her mouth sent chills down his spine.

"They all deserve what they're receiving." Eliot spat back. They were now inside now walking passed the living room.

"I'd have to disagree. I met Charlie. They're not a bad person, of course you wouldn't give them the chance though." Davina defended her new friend. Davina spotted a few of the Hartley members, if looks could kill, Davina would be six feet underground by now. Eliot noticed this.

"If you have a problem with young Davina here, take it up with me." He growled, whilst clenching his fists. They gave Davina one last nasty look and turned around. They continued walking, approaching the stairs. It was silent between them, neither knowing what to say. Eliot guided Davina upstairs, like he did once before except once they were upstairs they went passed the room Eliot put Davina in. They kept walking until they reached the door at the end of the hallway. Eliot turned the door knob and opened the door.

It was like a grand reveal. As soon as her eyes landed on the room, Davina instantly knew it was Eliot's. It was massive, a large chandelier hung over everything and big open windows looked over the lake in the backyard. Davina stepped onto the carpet and they were as soft as the clouds in the sky right now.

Eliot grinned at Davina, who had a look of admiration for the room.

"Welcome to where I sleep. The ensuite is to the left, for your shower. Might as well let you use the best of the best." Eliot boasted. Davina mumbled a thanks and marched into the bathroom. She locked the door behind her and observed the room. There was a large shower and a spa across from it. Dark tiles created a relaxing setting. For the first time in a week and three days, Davina caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. Her once curly hair was all knotty and messy. Her scar stood out and large bags hung under her eyes.

She sighed at the sight and went on to turning on the shower, after a while steam started to rise up and Davina slipped off her clothes. She stepped into the warm shower and as the water hit her skin she melted. She'd been craving such warmth for a while and here she is.

She continued onto washing her hair with Eliots shampoo and conditioner which were actually quite feminine. She smirked at it, amused at the thought of such a manly man using these products. Once she was done she turned off the shower and grabbed a dark grey towel. Suddenly, she realised she had no clothes to go out in. There was no way she was putting her old clothes back on and she thought there was no harm in going in his room to get a t shirt or something of the sort. She crept up to the door opened up to his room, still dripping wet. She put her ear up to the door to listen for any noise that could indicate Eliot's presence. All she heard was silence.

She smiled to herself and jerked open the door. She traveled over to his closet and found a very large black t shirt and decided it was perfect. Without any thought, Davina let go of her towel and it dropped to the floor.

The universe was not on Davinas side because as soon as her towel hit the ground, Eliot rammed through his door and his eyes traveled to Davinas naked body.

At the same time, Davina let out a scream and she picked up her towel and Eliot put his hand over his eyes and turned around, his face red from the sight.

"What on earth are you doing!?" Eliot exclaimed.

"I could say the same thing to you. I was getting something to wear!" Davina yelled in embarrassment.

"As much as I would like to see you naked, Miss May, this is my room and you're taking my clothes." Eliot said with amusement.

"Get out so I can put on your t-shirt, Eliot. Now!" Davina demanded. Eliot obliged and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. She could hear his chuckles. Davina put both her hands to her face in embarrassment.
