"Would you like to share a dance with me?" His offer shocked Davina. After the words about Davina made by Aidan, she wanted to cover herself more than anything. But when Eliot offered her a dance, she couldn't find the words to refuse.

"I'm not good at dancing." Davina spoke.

"You made that pretty clear at Ali's wedding." Eliot chuckled a bit. Davina hit him in the shoulder, dramatically.

"I was drunk, it doesn't count." She tried to defend herself. "But yes, I would like to share a dance with you." She placed her hand in his and he smiled. Not a smirk, a genuine smile. She liked it. She knew she shouldn't, but who can blame her when he looks like that? She can appreciate his looks without it meaning anything... right?

Eliot led her out from the corner to the middle of the ballroom. There was a fair few of people dancing and the band on the stage were playing beautiful classical music. Eliot placed his hands on her waists, Davina placed hers behind his neck. She was nervous. She felt like every one was looking at her, judging her. She had never ballroom danced before. The only dancing she participated in was at parties and in her room.

"I'm nervous." She whispered to him.

"And why is that?" His eyes looked into hers. She shouldn't be doing this, she wanted to think about all the bad things he's done to her. But they all get shut out by the way he looks into her eyes.

"I'm going to step on your feet and make you look really bad." Davina let it out. Especially in the heels Alice gave her.

"You could never make me look bad, Davina." He reassured her. "And I'm glad it's you who's stepping on my feet."

"Stop saying things like that." Davina and him started to dance. As she assumed, she stood on his foot with her sharp heels.
"I'm sorry." She whisper-yelled.

"It's fine. And you know you like it when I say things like that." He smirks again. That damned smirk.

"How can you be so confident about that?" Davina asked. She keeps stumbling but Eliot keeps holding her up, leading the way.

"Cause I see it in the way you blush after I say it." Davina wanted to run away, she was embarrassed he pointed it out, but it was so true. They continued dancing and Davina continued stepping on his feet until they could no longer dance anymore. It was magical, Davina had never been to an event like this and she was in a weird way glad that Eliot introduced her to it. They stared into each other's green eyes until everyone was starting to leave.

"We should go." Davina whispered.

"We should." Eliot agreed. He then gave his people a signal that Davina could only imagine to be 'let's go, guard this bitch so she doesn't escape.' Nevertheless, Eliot dragged Davina along to groups of older people. Saying goodbye and discussing a little bit about business. Davina dozed off when he did that. Finally, his people surrounded Eliot and Davina like they did when they walked in. Davina glanced one more time at the astonishing architecture that made her speechless when she first laid her eyes upon it. She wanted to own a building like this.

Eliot once again, opened her door for her whilst Derek hopped in the drivers seat. Eliot made his way to the seat next to Davina. The car started moving and Davina could see a few more of the Hartley cars following. She then was reminded about what Eliot had said earlier tonight when they were in this car. He would release Charlie. She couldn't help but feel a little less hatred towards him. She knew she should hate him, she does. Does she?

"What are you thinking about?" Eliot's question snapped her out of her thoughts. She looked at him, his curious eyes.

"You." She said truthfully. Eliot sat up straighter at the answer.
