Davina stood in front of the cold metal door that led down to the basement. It held a bad memory that door, but Davina shook that memory away. Instead, she couldn't stand still and kept fidgeting with excitement. Charlie was coming out, they were finally coming out.

"Why are they taking so long?" Davina impatiently asked. Eliot stood still next to her constant moving body. His face was cold as he looked at his people scattered around his property. It was weird to see him in boss mode right after he confessed his love to her.

"He's been gone for 10 seconds." Eliot looked down at her and said. His hair danced with the slight wind and his face lit up with the sun, she could look at him all day but he would never know that. One of the Hartley men was getting Charlie from their cell, Davina hoped that he treated them with respect.

"Right..." Davina trailed off in anticipation. She pretended to not notice Eliot's glare on her as she fidgeted whilst looking at the basement door intensely. He was about to say something when a loud creak filled the air. Davina ceased all movement and observed Charlie's dirty body come out of the darkness. They squinted at the sunlight and had tears rolling down their face.

"Charlie!" Davina squealed as she ran and threw her arms around them. Charlie returned the gesture and hugged Davina back.

"I assume this is your doing?" Their southern accent asked. Davina pulled away from the hug, but kept her hands on Charlie's arms.

"Yes! I told you I would get you out of here." Davina smiled with glee.

"Well I'll be damned. You really are determined I'll give you that... thanks." They said. Davina opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted by a Big Bang. The next few moments would replay in Davinas mind in slow motion for the rest of her days.

Charlie's body fell on Davinas but Davina kept them up. The look on their face was shocked. They said something but Davina could not hear. She could not hear because she saw blood gushing out of Charlie, their stomach and mouth. She couldn't breathe.

Someone grabbed Davina and pulled her away, causing Charlie's dying body to fall on the ground.

"NO!" She screamed over and over again. She kept getting dragged away from Charlie until she reached inside the house. She looked at the persona and saw it was Eliot. She grabbed onto his shirt and looked up at him with desperation.

"Save them. Please Eliot, save them I beg you to save them, please." She begged and begged and Eliot could only look at her distressed face.

"Stay inside, do not move from here." He demanded, ignoring her pleas. Eliot ran right out and grabbed a gun from in between his pants and skin. Shots continued outside and Davina knew they were being attacked.

Who was attacking them?

Davina tried to stay inside, she was no warrior after all. But the thought of Charlie's dead body out there made her furious. She wanted to kill all of them. She didn't care who it was but all she knew is that they were dead. Instead, she stopped her crying and looked. She looked for a gun, any gun. When she spotted one lying on the dining room table, she immediately stormed over and grabbed it.

She was trained to shoot, but she preferred not to, until now. Now it was all she wanted to do. Davina stormed out of the house with no protection and found cover behind an outside table that got flipped over, Eliot was behind a wall near the table. Davina could see people with guns coming from the woods, she couldn't get a glimpse of their faces but it felt familiar. Dangerously familiar.

Davina got her gun and aimed it at the first person she spotted, with that, she shot. With her beginners luck, she hit the target. Before that person fell, she got a look at their face. As if her heart couldn't drop anymore, she realised that it was a Desmond. Her people are here. They're here for her. She's the reason Charlie is dead. And the realisation that she just killed one of her people hit. She crouched back down so the table could protect her.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck." She repeated. She looked to her side to see Eliot staring at her in shock. And a darkness spread across his face. Davina was in danger. That's all he could think. He had to get her out of here.

Davina observed Eliot as he looked at where all the Desmond's are coming from, then he started sprinting to Davina and the table. He nearly made it without getting shot until the last meter. A bullet hit him. He immediately fell next to Davina and sat so he was leaning against the table.

Davina let out a loud gasp as she saw the wound. Not as much blood as Charlie was coming out but it was still there. She looked at Eliot and observed him also looking at the wound. He was breathing fast.

"Eliot, don't. Don't die, please." She whimpered. Eliot was placing pressure on the wound but he knew if he didn't get help soon, he would die.

"Davina, my love. I need help soon, or- or I'm going to die." He groaned in pain. Gun shots in the back were going off but all Davina saw was Eliot.

"I-Im going to miss you." Davina said. Eliot looked up at her in confusion.

"STOP! STOP ITS ME, DAVINA! IM HERE!" Davina screamed, she slowly put her hands up and stood up from behind the table.

"Davi-"

"Stop talking." She demanded Eliot. And so he did. All shots slowly stopped.

"No one is going to shoot, I am going to walk to the forest and me and the Desmond people will leave together." She demanded everyone. When no one said anything back she started walking, not before giving one last look to Eliot. It was a goodbye, a 'hope you don't die' look. Davina walked and with her, other Desmond's retreated as well. There was so many of them, they were willing to burn this place to the ground to get Davina back.

She recognised some of the faces. Davina tried to ignore the fact she was covered in Charlie's blood while walking. Davina took one last quick glance at the Hartley house. One last look before she travelled into the woods.

Before she could remember how to breathe properly again, Darcy. Her Darcy that saved her from her old life and gave her another one, came rushing to her. Davina let out a big sob and found herself wrapping her arms around him. She didn't feel comfort though, she didn't feel anything.

"Oh, Davina. We finally have you back. Quick! Everyone move out! We need to get out of here immediately." His old voice demanded. He grabbed Davinas arm and started dragging her to the way out of the property. He was doing this as if Davina hadn't done this on her first night here. She shivered at that memory.

Was Eliot getting help?

They finally made it to the exit and Davina saw 2 of Eliot's men on the ground, dead. Oh. In a blink of an eye, Davina was in the back of a car, next to Darcy. The car zoomed away. She could feel Darcy's eyes on her.

"Oh, D. Why would you do that? Replace Nadia?" He whispered and grabbed her hand but she pulled it back to her in an instant. He seemed shocked at that. Davina guessed she was holding a grudge on him for being the reason Charlie is dead.

"She's my best friend, why wouldn't I?" She answered back. Davina looked down on her body, Eliot's shirt was covered in blood. Davina felt sick.

Is Eliot alright?

"Did they hurt you? Are you okay?" Darcy asked with desperation.

"I'm fine." Was all Davina could say. Yes, he did hurt her, but she fell for him in the process.

"Please, D. Talk to me, what happened there?" He kept on persisting. Davina was going to throw up. This was all too much.
