Davina stared outside the car. She refused to look anywhere else. Her hands fidgeted with the floral red dress that cut off above her knees. It was an off shoulder dress and the sleeves hung on her arms. When she received the dress, she brushed out her curly hair and left it untied.

She observed the trees rushing pass and looked into the bright blue sky, it was a beautiful day. Davina heard a cough erupt from the man sitting next to her. Without thinking she turned to look at the sounds source, Eliot. She quickly turned away again, blushing after remembering what happened.

She could almost feel him smirk and his eyes on her.

"Don't feel so embarrassed, love. You have a great body. I mean it." He said. Davina clenched her fists, resisting the will to slap him right then and there.

"Stop. Talking." She muttered. He chuckled in return.

"And my people chose right, that dress looks ravishing on you. Then again, I'm sure you'd look good wearing a paper bag." Eliot continued to talk.

"I said shut up." Davina warned.

"Actually you said stop talking, not shut up." He retaliated.

"Same thing isn't it?" Davina turned to look at him with irritation. He grinned and continued to look at Davina without saying a word. "Are we nearly there?" She asked.

"Derek how far along do we have left?" Eliot spoke to the driver. He was a tall man with spiked up hair, he looked to be from Japan and he had some muscle too. Davina recognised him as one of the men that took Nadia away.

"A few minutes." His husky voice spoke. Davina nodded and turned to look out the window again.

"Who's wedding is it anyways?" Davina questioned.

"My cousins, her name is Ali, well, Alice but no one calls her that." Eliot answered. Davina realised that his family wasn't just his mum and dad, he had other family out there.

After a few minutes of silence, they pulled into a beautiful property. It was filled with trees that stood tall and the leaves were bright and brought life to the air. The music of the birds chirping filled Davinas ears. Freshly cut green grass overtook the property except for the driveway, which was already filled with so many cars, and the big barn house.

Davina stepped out of the car before Eliot could open the door for her. The warmth hit her skin and she felt a little at peace.

"Beautiful place, isn't it?" Davina looked to her side to see Eliot, the height difference between them was somewhat tiring, as she didn't want to have to keep looking up. Davina nodded and hummed in agreement.

"It was my parents... they gave it to Ali in their will." Eliot looked over the land with a tint of grief in his eyes. Davina didn't know what to say or do except look at his expression and feel bad. But she quickly stopped feeling remorse for him as she remembered what he had done to her.

She looked away.

"Follow me." He demanded. And she did, the sound of her high heels being placed on the rocks followed behind Eliot's. They walked into the big barn house, passing the occasional guest. They opened the door and traveled into the really bright and open space, with a crystal chandelier and white walls, along with the natural light of outside coming in. They were stopped by a big guard wearing a black suit and glasses. He put his hand up to stop Eliot, who was clearly the more dominant man out of the 2.

"Your name?" He asks in a bland voice, as if he's asked the questions a million times.

"Eliot Hartley." Eliot grumbled. This caused a few heads to turn in shock. The guard was a bit flustered and didn't know what to say. So he just raised his hand to gesture that he was welcomed to walk in. Eliot did so. The guard then put his hand up in front of Davina, about to ask the question.

"She's with me, along with Derek." Eliot demanded. So he also let Davina and Derek in too. It was weird how much authority and reputation he had in a place like this. From the people turning their heads and shutting their mouths at his name and presence to the guard who was paid to be in rough situations, getting speechless. It was odd and made Davina feel a bit weird.

Davina continued to walk beside Eliot, with Derek behind them. Eliot led them into a hall way and knocked on a door.

"Who is it?" An older woman yelled, from behind the door.

"Your favourite nephew." Eliot yelled back.

"Jackson?" The old woman said with amusement. Davina could see Eliot roll his eyes and grin.

"Can I come in?" Eliot inquired, ignoring the fact that the woman got his name wrong. She heard some whispering from behind the door.

"Yes you can." A younger voice said in return. So Eliot pushed open the door to reveal a girl with deep red hair, placed in a low bun with 2 strands of hair coming for each side of her face and the brightest green eyes, like the colour of the grass outside. She had a few freckles on her nose where she had a stud for her nose piercing. Next to her was the older woman who had the same sort of red hair but was getting over taken by grey. She had blue eyes instead and her face was hollow. What was assumed to be Alice, was wearing a long white mermaid tail shaped dress with long lacy sleeves.

"Eli!" Alice squealed as she attempted to run towards him and threw her arms around him. He returned the gesture. Hm, Ali and Eli. Davina thought.

"I've missed you so much! Where have you been you asshole!" She laughed as she pulled out of the hug. Davina stood awkwardly behind Eliot and Derek stood beside the door, guarding it.

"I know. I know. I've been busy... with work and all." Eliot responded. From Alice's expression she knew what he did for a living.

"Honestly, no text or anything." She smiled. From those few seconds, Davina could already tell she was a loud and out there person. She wondered who she was marrying. Eliot moved on to hug the older woman, who would've been Alice's mum, which would make her Eliot's Aunty. Alice's head turned to look at Davina and she looked back at Eliot and turned back to Davina.

"So you're his plus one!? I thought he was going to bring Derek or something. Well I suppose he did. Hi Derek!" She waved to Derek who waved back and smirked, looking her up and down. "Eliot never brings girls to anything. Who's the unfortunate lady, Eli?" Davina stood there with no clue what to say, she was processing the information. Eliot turned from hugging his aunty to look at Alice and her outburst. His face had a tint or red from Alice exposing him for not bringing any girls to anything.

"I- uh." Davina stuttered, Alice still staring at her with a smile.

"Leave the poor girl alone, Ali. I thought'd I'd bring her here to be nice." Eliot said with a stern voice.

"Really? So you aren't my future cousin in law?" Alice asked. Davina blushed and Eliot was about to argue when Davina spoke first.

"Um no. Sorry, I hardly like him as a friend." Davina grinned. Alice's face scrunched up with confusion and Eliot's face dropped in disappointment. Alice then smiled again and brought Davina into a hug.

"Then you and I are going to get along swimmingly." Alice mumbled into Davinas shoulder.
