Hermes Jabami POV

Like I said to Brynn before she just sat back and relaxed today while I'm in control. Jorja ended up leaving too for work today even though she really doesn't have too. I just sat back looking over what she ordered and filed them accordingly. Both paper and online documents just in case. I flipped through the numerous cameras in both our, meaning Brynn's and I, businesses just to keep watch on them. People can take advantage of things when the manager or boss isn't around. Since the guys "works" for the car business, nobody really checks over the lounge. That was my idea to start one, and it fits me.

"Hmm that looks suspicious." I said out loud. I watched one of my employees take some cash out the register and pocketed it. I saved the camera feed, and watched for a while if they were going to put it back.

After maybe twenty minutes of watching, it was placed back.

"Now was that so hard to do." again talking to myself.

Of course that worker is getting fired for that. As much as our employees get paid an hour, stealing shouldn't be on their mind at all. Good luck to that person finding a job that pays as much as I do. In this country, it's going to be hard as hell to do anyway.

I gathered all of their gifts for today. I bought Korin some new puzzles, along with some stuff my parents and the Jabami's got her. Money and some clothes. For Luna, that was hard for me. Living with me is more on the knowledge side. I got her a new tablet with some money on her new account. Also since she likes coloring, I got some new coloring books. I didn't know what else to give her, so I guess that's good. They both got all their favorite snacks too.

Now for Jorja, I bought her some new heels. It has been a few times at the mall, she would look at a couple of pairs she has been wanting. She always told me not to buy it, and I didn't listen of course. Jorja probably started to save up some money for it. Byrnn bought those for her while I went out and bought some stock. I ended up spending one hundred thousand dollars in Tesla stock for her. It's a lot of money, and even if we don't last, she still has money afterwards.

I set everything up in the living room before they get off from work and school. Everything is nicely set out for them when they get here which is in two hours. I went back to my office looking over some other business. So far I can see that new family I have to watch over now. The Marino Family is an Italian mob family that is trying to get some outside control. Plus some smaller groups honestly. With my office wired in a way that the government can not hack into my cameras, but I can hack some cameras I've got access too.

This shit is stupid, and I haven't killed anyone in some time. That part of me is itching to do something, but I have to keep my hands semi clean. Until someone wants to get too big for their pants.

"Hmm, now who is this?" I said out loud. Zooming in, looking at this person's face looks familiar.

I've made a note of it, to look into it in the future. People, mobs, all those types have been quiet for a while which is concerning to me. Maybe I've been too focused on my family?
