A/N: Quick change that I had over looked which is just a really small detail. Korin is actually 7 years old, not 5.
Brynn Rawlings POV
I walked out of my office, and I see Korin crying.
"Baby what's wrong?" I asked her getting down to her level of height.
"Was that my mommy?" she sniffled. I hate seeing my daughter cry, but now it's over her own mother.
"Yes baby girl that was your mother. Why are you crying sweetheart?" I said. She didn't answer me but walked into my arms. I held her as she softly cried in the crook of my neck.
"Why aren't you and my mommy not together?" she told me after five minutes of her crying.
"Listen, your mother and I never was together. Honestly, I wasn't planning on having you no time soon. Once we had you, I honestly tried to get her to love you baby. She doesn't want to be your mother even though she gave birth to you. I don't want you to hate your mother because we both probably wasn't ready to raise you, but I had to grow up and do it. She can not make you stay with her or try to pick you up from school. Even if she does, that is considered kidnapping. She signed over her legal rights as your parent. She may be your mother, but she can't do anything with out my permission or knowledge." I told her.
I do not like having to tell Korin these things while she is so young. But I don't want to sugar coat the reason for it either.
"But why?"
"That I can't answer. Only she knows the answer." I was about to say something else, but I couldn't. I don't like seeing my daughter potentially stress over her mother now. Sarah made her decision, but at the same time as a parent I may have to let my differences go. "Listen, I will try, and talk to her to see if you would want to see her, but that is up to you sweetheart. Just think on it, and tell me whenever you are ready so I can set a date for it. Now let's go finish our puzzle, and we can make some homemade pizzas."
I watched Korin wipe her tears away and smiled. Korin ran back to the living room fast enough before I could tell her not to run in my house, but I didn't bother to really say it. I might need to put her in some fighting classes though. She has a lot of energy.
"Poppa come on!" I heard her yell for me. I swear she is more addicted to puzzles than she is to homemade pizza.
I walked back into the living room, and see that she finished the Northern Lights puzzle.
"Well my little genius, what is this picture without looking at the box, and where is it located at?" I quickly threw the box behind the couch. Even though I send her to school like a normal child, she isn't normal. I have a feeling that she is different mentally. Maybe a photographic memory, or she has another side like I do. Or maybe she hasn't developed what I have, and that is being intersex.
She thought about it for a second, then I watched her face light up as if she knew the answer.
"Umm, most of Alaska, the northern parts of Canada, southern half of Greenland which really isn't green and in the north of Norway, Sweden and Finland." I smiled at her as she got the answer right.
"You are correct my love."
November 5
Another day of waking up and taking my little genius to school. This time she got dressed, and did her hair all by herself. I put on some gray Nike sweats, a white champion hoodie, a red and black Nike windbreaker, and my Jordan 4 Breds.
"For once you look normal." Korin said. She came down in some jeans, her pink hoodie with a large rose on the back and her checkered slide on vans.
"Well don't you look beautiful today. Get your book bag and lets go." She grabbed her bag and walked with me towards the garage. Getting back into the Hellcat Charger, Korin grabbed my phone and put on my favorite singer Alina Baraz.

"Have a good day." Korin leaned over and kissed me on my cheek. "I love you butthead."
"Love you too buttface." She said closing my door. I smiled looking at my daughter running towards I believe her new friend Luna. She is only seven, but she is growing too fast for me. Damn I need to get a girlfriend sooner or later. Sooner probably the better because I know I'm backed up. In the nut department.
This time driving to work nobody has been following me except this one car. Well no police car today. I believe this is an undercover car though. Anyone that has met Hermes has died, so there are no witnesses. Well, heh, anyone that's around in that fact.
At the stop light I picked up my phone and called Abel.
"What's up boss." He said with a lot of energy.
I smiled because he is the goofiest one out of all of us. "Open the shop up, also we might have a visitor or two. I believe we have an undercover car following me." I said.
"You can't catch a break can you." He said. I can hear keys rattling in the background, and the alarm system being disabled.
"I guess not, but the bad part is that I just took Rin to school. So I don't know what the fuck is going on, but I want to find out because if my daughter is in danger, nobody including children will be safe." This pissed me off because nobody is going to fuck with my daughter.
"Relax Brynn, me and Mo will look into it. Stop by the store and pick up some drinks and stuff. The vending machines are running low, and so is the soda machines. Both bottle and can. Then stop by Home Depot. and get some boxes of disposable gloves, preferably black, loads of terry towels, and rest room shit." He said. Instead of going straight to the shop, I changed direction to Costco's.
Once I parked, I noticed a lot of people are here. I walked into the store and got a lot of stares towards me. Mostly from women and some men. I honestly don't know why, but oh well. I walked towards the isle where all the chips were and grabbed eight variety packs of chips. Then grabbed several different cases of sodas both bottled and canned.
I started to stretch and I closed my eyes for a moment until I saw like a flash go off. I opened my eyes and saw a woman walking away pretty fast. Then an older black man came up to me.
"Listen son, your business is out. Damn near gave my wife a heart attack." He laughed. It was like he was proud of me though. I ignored the fact that he called me son, but I still don't get it.
"I'm sorry sir, but what do you mean my business is out." I said politely.
"Well not trying to look, but from what I've been hearing, your dick print is showing." I looked down and seen a bulge.
"So this caused all those stares. Okay I thought I did something wrong, thank you for telling me." I said shaking my head. Welp maybe this will be a step closer to getting a girlfriend now, or at least a potential fuck buddy.
I can't really do anything to hide it, unless I tie my windbreaker around my waist. Walking over to the candy isle, I grabbed handfulls of different candy bars, peanuts, some gum packs, and mints. The peanuts were an iffy item to me because I am allergic, but I know they will bug me about not buying some. As long as they stay away from me for a while we are good.
At the check out line, I loaded most of the stuff onto the conveyor belt. The cashier looked like she goes to college or something. She kept looking down at my gray sweats, biting her bottom lip. As she scanned every item, she had to come from behind the counter to scan the sodas. As she bent down, I can tell she was trying to get a better look.
"You know, the more you stare at it, it's not going to get any bigger." I said. I mean she is good looking, but I told myself to stay away from white girls.
Well, I hope there isn't a lot of people at Home Depot. I guess looking "normal" gives me a lot of attention. Then again, I am only wearing boxers underneath this.
