Brynn Rawlings POV

Korin's Elementary

I walked into the office seeing a little boy holding his face. I wanted to laugh at him, but I need to be a parent. Going into the principal's office, I believe the boy's parents are yelling.

"I don't know who raised this disrespectful barbarian, but she needs to be expelled for what she did to my son."

"The only thing disrespectful is your coffee poop sandwich mouth that's burning my nose," Korin said rolling her eyes.

"Look here."

"I wouldn't be wagging that finger in my daughter's face. Hello, Ms. Powell, what seems to be the issue?" I asked.

"Hi poppa." Korin waved at me. I waved back at her.

"Have a seat please." I sat down next to Korin, and she laid her head on my arm. "Korin has hit Mrs. Tillman's son, Jacob, with a lunch tray. From what she says, he dumped Ms. Walker's lunch on the floor. Then the same to hers, unfortunately, Korin picked up the other tray and proceeded to hit him with it."

I nodded my head then looked down at Korin. Then over to Luna, who is crying. I got up and walked over to her. Kneeling down I gently grabbed her hands as she looked up at me.

"Tell me what happened sweetheart." I said softly.

"He", pointing over to the boy holding his nose. "Took my tray as Korin and I was talking at the lunch table. Then he dumped it on the floor. Then Korin tried to hit him afterward, but I told her it's okay. But, he took hers and did the same. So she grabbed another tray and hit him with it. I didn't want her to get in trouble, but I couldn't stop her." She started crying.

"Come here." She bolted into my arms and just started sobbing. "Hey, hey, it's okay."

Then the door opened to a woman panting.

"I'm here is everything okay." I looked up seeing her mother.

Hermes Thinking = Underline and Italic

Well I'll be damned, I would tap that.

I shook my head at Hermes thought, but at the same time, I would too.

"Hey, that's my daughter you're holding." She said to me.

"I understand Mrs. Walker. She just needed a hug." I let go of Luna, and she just sniffled.

I looked at her seeing something in her eyes that is concerning. Also, in the mothers too. Looking at her mother I see this dark purple bruise on her shoulder, but she quickly covered it before anyone could see.

"What is the damage to the boy?" I asked.

"Just a bloody nose, and a black eye." Ms. Powell said. I nodded my head. "Korin will be suspended for 3 days for fighting. As for Jacob, he will be suspended for a week. Luna, you can return to class if you want"

"Wait, why is my son suspended for a week and not her. She is the only one who fought with an object." Mrs. Tillman is going to make it worse for her son to return back to school. After the suspension.

"In defense of herself, and her friend. Your son approached them first and started it. My daughter did what's right. Maybe if you wouldn't have raised a bully, then he wouldn't have a black eye and a bloody nose. No child would burst into tears like that over nothing. As this seems, this isn't the first time. I know my daughter. It takes a lot for her to be physical with anyone, and obviously she is fed up with it. In my opinion, it's not overkill in my eyes. If it was, he would be sent to the hospital by now." I said calmly.

As she tried to argue with me, I walked out of the office with Korin. She sat down and played a puzzle game on my phone while I went to talk to her friend's mom.

"Ma'am, can I talk to you in private away from Luna," I asked politely.

She shooed Luna to go over to Korin. Korin stopped what she was doing and hugged her. I smiled at how nice my daughter is, or maybe she is a lesbian too.

"Sorry to intrude, but what's up with that bruise. Before you say its nothing, I know that it's not nothing. It's too big to be nothing Mrs. Walker." I said. "By the way, I'm Brynn Rawlings, Korin's poppa or mom, however, she addresses me."

"Jorja." She said. "I'm surprised you saw so quickly. It's a lot."

(Sorry y'all I wanted to use it. But please go to the chapter Pick One, and choose who Jorja Walker would look like please. )

"Be honest with me." I said calmly. I don't want to trigger anything here, but I know she is just being strong for Luna. "Is your husband doing this, and potentially the same to Luna?"

I looked around and the secretary is probably trying to eavesdrop on our conversation.

"Boyfriend, and no. Can we talk about this somewhere else where there are fewer ears around."

Make your move, Brynn don't be a bitch.

"Takedown my number. We could talk about this at my house if you are comfortable with it. Besides, I think the little ones can occupy themselves just fine." We both look at them playing on my phone. "And maybe I could give you something to help with the healing of that too.

"That would be great." She smiled.

"I don't care she is fucking dangerous!" we both heard Mrs. Tillman yell. IF anything, I am more dangerous than my daughter, but Korin knows how to fight.

Korin opened the door to Ms. Powell's office and poked her head inside.

"So is your breath, but you don't hear anyone yelling about it. Got this whole room smelling like 69 cans of bounce that booty." I facepalm myself on the forehead. I know for a fact, she didn't get that mouth from me, well maybe a little bit. That has to be all Sarah, or she is hanging too much around the guys.

"Alise Jane." I said sternly. "Stop talking."

"Look as funny as it is my love, you need to relax. You are already in trouble for fighting. Don't let that mouth of yours get you in more trouble. I'm not mad at you, but you need to stop. AS much as her breath does smell like 69 cans of bounce that ass, you need to chill." I said in Dutch.

"Okay, poppa. What happened to your clothes, you don't look normal anymore." She said.

"I was getting too much attention this morning. Then I had to work so I changed." I told her. Ms. Powell came out of the office rolling her eyes as Mrs. Tillman was still fuming.

"Mrs. Tillman, if you continue cursing inside this school, I will have the security escort you out. I've made my decision." The security has seen everything and is probably on standby because of Mrs. Tillman.

"But that is unfair to my son. He shouldn't be suspended for a week, and she only gets three days. That is outrageous and absurd." Steady trying to get Korin in trouble.
