Brynn Rawlings POV

"Alright baby girl, which car should we take today?" I asked her. I have a 1969 Corvette, 2015 Lamborghini Huracan, 450 Ford Truck, Hellcat Charger, and 1967 Chevrolet Camaro.

"You need normal cars, poppa. Let's take the Charger please." Korin said, going over to the black car as she opened the door herself.

The windows I imagine are a lot dark than in this picture.

"Do you think so Rin?" I asked her as I got inside the car. I took my gun off, and place it in the armrest.

"Yep" she told me.

I pulled out of the driveway and drove to her school. I shook my head at my daughter because she took my phone and started playing her music. She started to sing Kehlani at the top of her lungs as I drove to school. After 4 songs of her singing her heart out, she turned down the radio.

"Poppa, how come mommy is not in my life?" My daughter is smart for her age, and she doesn't like things sugar-coated. We are almost up to her school, so I have a little time to tell her.

"She didn't want to be in your life, plain and simple. I let her have you for a whole week, and she just didn't take the responsibility of being a mother. After that, I told her to sign her rights over. Don't get me wrong baby girl, she is still your mother, but she can't make you live with her or anything. I'm still mad at her, but I have bigger things to take care of, and it is you." I said. I stopped at her school and turned to look at her. "It not your fault baby okay, don't be sad. You are the most amazing thing that has happened in my life. She just missed out on a beautiful, smart girl you are. I'm your mama/poppa, literally."

Korin laughed at that because it is true. "There's my smile. Gone head and get in school baby. Remember the rules."

"Yeah, yeah, no boys and pay attention. Don't start fights unless someone hits you first. Listen to my teacher no matter how dumb they sound, blah blah. I know poppa." She said sassily. She must have got that from her mother.
