Brynn Rawlings POV
The Day before Thanksgiving

As I stepped off the private jet, I finally landed in my home city Amsterdam. Korin went down the stairs then ran over to my dad and my mom. I shook my head holding onto my bag with paperwork in it.

"Hey mom, hey dad." The workers started loading up my parents truck.

"I missed you baby." My mom hugged me.

"I missed you too. Things have been somewhat crazy over the past couple of months." I said getting into the truck with them.
Korin stayed up for the last three hours of the flight, so the ride to the villa. For the first twenty minutes she fell asleep.

"So what has been happening?" My dad asked.

"A lot pops. So Korin has a friend named Luna that she stuck up for in school. Remember I told you that she smacked some boy with a lunch tray. As I talked to the principal, her mom came up to the school. It appeared that she was getting abused by her boyfriend, baby daddy whoever this man is to her. The mom and I became close and I guess there is something between us. Her boyfriend thought it was okay to break into my house while I was there with Korin. He had him and some of his posse with him so I made my point. Later on she wanted to talk about Hermes. I had to make a choice to tell her since she is going to be around Korin more often because of her daughter. I'm hoping that she doesn't say anything because I would hate to do something to her. Now we're at this point." I said. The driver looked back at me through the rear view.

My mom pulled her 1911 pistol to his head.

"Mind your business, and just drive

"Mind your business, and just drive." she told him. "Anyways baby, I'm just glad you two are here."

The ride to the villa was at least two hours away, and I couldn't wait to see my other siblings. I know Korin is going to be extremely happy to see all of them.

"Wake up baby girl we are here." I shook Korin awake. She didn't want to wake up, so I carried her into the house.

When we walked into the villa all four of my siblings were there waiting for us. Once they saw a sleeping Korin I took her upstairs to my other bedroom, and laid her down in the bed. My dad brought our stuff up to the room and placed them by the door.

"I really hope this isn't a business trip here too," he said leaning against the door.

"Sorry, but I have to do some side stuff. As much as I wanted this to be a peaceful couple of days here, it isn't. The day after tomorrow I have some things to do." I took my suit jacket off.

"You know you don't have to do any of this Brynn. You have Korin, and there is no telling when somebody will kill you."

"We will not speak of this with Korin here. Sleep or not, if you want to have this conversation, it will be somewhere else. I understand your concern, but this should have been talked about years ago." Heremes said. I slipped into it for a moment because I don't need Korin knowing. I loosen my tie and took it off, then unbutton the first three top buttons. As I closed the door to the room we began walking down the hall.
