At hospital shay is in ED and she hears about Crockett amazing surgery. Firefighter Joe Cruz came in with extensive injuries from some rescue accident.

Hey you she pokes her head in break room. He looks up a bit surprised its her.

There she is. How are you?

I'm good I just wanted to say hi and congrats. I heard about what you did in surgery the other day. Your name has been bouncing around the hospital like hot cakes.

I get it you heard I was an actual hero now and wanted to meet me personally is that it.

I've always known that. You've been my hero since day one. Anyways heroes who save other heroes, huh? Right? You've managed to make it an actual thing. its pretty amazing haha.

See you should have just stuck around awhile we could have done great things together.

No doubt she laughed. Definatly my loss for sure. You look real good Dr Marcel.

Yeah, you didn't know you be missing out huh? He slid his arm up against the wall above her as he had done before. Trying to be smooth like. You know your looking pretty good yourself..

Look at you all flirty better be careful i don't think Nat will like it.

Yep you heard about that did you?

Yeah she's real cute but she's the lucky one.

Speaking of rumors. Voight huh? I dont like it he added. I smiled in response. I'm actually concerned with even speaking to you. He may just kick my teeth in.

Thats a bit dramatic I finished. Hey we will talk later I have this thing I need to finish up but we will talk later.

I make it back to pharmacy and everyone is freaked out.

Did you hear about the patient that overdosed upstairs. Its all over the hospital and it just made this evening's news. They are saying its pharmacies fault.

What that cant be right. Can it?

Not sure. Andy says its not looking so good for us.

I decided to go snoop for more details. Making my way to the back Vicky and few other department leads all stood at a desk looking over paperwork from this mornings fill orders. Pharmacist Edmond had been here for years so it was difficult to imagine he didn't follow protocols. Still he held a worried look while he patiently waited.

So I heard, is it us? I asked as Vicky stopped to look up at me.

After extensive investigation showed that pharmacy did fill the order for insulin earlier that day. It was checked and double checked by the tech and pharmacist this morning.

Dose seemed high for that order from the doctor however the pharmacist didn't call to verify the dose. Either way it lead to pharmacy not being at fault as the Iv bag had been found upstairs unused. The charts upstairs was looked at concluding that a doctor signed off on a nurse personally administrating the med from the upstairs med stock leading to a high dose that was overlooked and administered by staff from that floor.

Hearing this made me feel a little better until the but came.

We need to pull files for HR. Going back seven years. The big wigs need to see all our files. Making sure we're up on all our inventories and documentation. Not only that but now we are required to show all we are up to code on all equipment, safety, and training for OSHA. They want to make sure we are at operational efficiency and up to date on everything.

We are not are we?

I'm sure we will be fine but its gonna be alot of work. You know its strange that they are asking this now. Someone has it out for us.
