Greg's POV

After I got out of the van, I walked to the school building. It was a little hard to walk as Rodrick since he was so tall, but I would get used to it (at least I hoped I did).

When I walked into the school building, I was actually pretty surprised by the things I didn't see. I always thought that high schoolers would be even crazier than middle schoolers (well, Rodrick was the only high schooler I really knew), but everything just seemed so chill.

There were still some similarities that this school had with my school. I still saw the huge crowd of people and the kids who were obviously popular. But everyone here just seemed much more mature.

(Rodrick really didn't belong here).

As I was looking at everybody, I saw Rodrick's bandmates come up to me.

"What's up Rodrick?" One of them asked. "Are you ready for practice this afternoon?"

"Yeah, of course......" I answered, not knowing what to say.

"That's good." He started. "Because we have a lot of practicing to do!"

Well that's just great!

"Yep, I'm definitely ready for practice...." I said. I guess I didn't say it how Rodrick would, because they all looked at me funny.

I then looked at the clock to see when I needed to be in his first class. It was 8:40. I pulled out his schedule to see when he needed to be in class, and I saw that it said that his first class started at 8:45!

Uh oh.

"Hey guys..." I told them. "I need to go. I'll talk to you later!"

"Ok...." They answered.

As I was leaving, I pulled out his schedule, and it said that his first class was History. I looked for the name of the teacher, and it said his name was Mr. Jones.

I raced around the hallways trying to find the class. Eventually, I saw a door that said "Mr. Jones" on it.
Thankfully, I got in the classroom in time before the bell rang.

Whenever I got in the classroom, his teacher started to talk to me.

"Wow, you actually made it on time today!" The teacher said. "I was expecting to have to put you in detention."

"Well, then I'm glad I made it on time...." I said, not knowing what else to say. I sat in an empty seat, guessing it was Rodrick's.

"That's not your seat Rodrick....." Mr. Jones said. "You're seat is there." He then pointed to another empty seat across the room.

"Oh sorry!" I said quickly as I headed to his actual seat as fast as I could.

The entire class was laughing at me as I sat down in the seat. I felt pretty embarrassed, but not as embarrassed as I usually would since this isn't my life.

As soon as I sat down in the seat, Mr. Jones started teaching class. I looked over at Heather, who was talking to one of her friends. She was pretty cute, so I couldn't blame Rodrick.

I couldn't pay attention in class, because I wondering how Rodrick was doing as me. Was he not doing the things I told him not to do? Or was he trying to make my life even more miserable?

I had no idea what to do in the class, since his teacher was going over things they apparently did yesterday. So I just tried my best so I could just get through this stupid class.

Eventually, it was time for everybody to leave and to head to their next class. The other classes I went to weren't so fun either. In math class, I had no idea what was going since I don't know any high school math. The teacher was getting on to me since I couldn't answer the stupid math problem.
