—"Rinjie, are you going to join us is capturing Annie?" Armin asked, shifting his weight from foot to foot.

"No."—

After giving my answer to Armin, I could tell he and the others were about to ask me why. But, I wasn't quite in the mood to push the matter any further.

Before he could open his mouth to say something, I stood up and pushed my chair back. Eren scooted out of the way and I brushed past him, out of the corner of the room.

All of the other soldiers had either joined Commander Erwin in the other room or left to settle down for the night. I approached Jean who had yet to leave the room.

"So, playing an important role, I see?" I hummed as I reached him.

"Important role, my ass." He grumbled. He didn't look too happy. "I have to dress up as that idiot over there, won't be long till we get caught. We look nothing alike." He jabbed his thumb in said idiot's direction.

"That's for sure, we wouldn't want two Eren's running around." I scoffed lightly. "One is definitely enough."

"Hah! Tell me about it. I can barely stand him." Jean sneered, before turning himself away from me. "As much as I'd like to stay and chat, I have to go listen to the commander talk for another hour."

"Have fun," I said a he left the room along with everyone else, leaving me alone.

And I waited for that hour, waiting for Commander Erwin to finish explaining the plan to those who would be executing it. I had something to tell him, and it had to be now.

I'm warning you, you're going to mess with the loop. The future will be changed.

Well, that's too damn bad. Whatever this 'loop' is, doesn't matter to me. I'm just doing what I know should be done.

Silence. The voice had left. I still had no clue who or what it was, but I didn't care.

The opening of the door brought me back to the present. Soldiers flooded out from the lit room, immediately heading for the exit to turn in for the night.

I waited until the last soldier had left, leaving Commander Erwin, Captain Levi, and Section Commander Hange.

I walked over to them and saluted. "Commander Erwin, sir!"

"Yes?" The three of them looked surprised to see me still in the room, since everyone not participating in the raid on Stohess had left over an hour ago.

"May I speak to you in private? I have information that may be valuable, but I am unsure if it is confirmed, yet."

"Of course." Erwin said after a short pause. He nodded to Levi and Hange who reluctantly left but didn't argue. After the door closed behind them and it was quiet, he turned to me. "What is it?"
