Y/N pov

Today was the day of Jamie's graduation, I was happy and scared at the same time. I know I should talk to Lizzie about everything, but I know it's going to hard talking about everything that happened in the past. I'm just scared to open up too much again since it didn't work out the last time. I woke up before Lizzie so I decided to go and make us both some breakfast. I decided on making some chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries and banana. As  I was plating them up I heard shuffling coming through to the kitchen.

"Good morning baby" she said in her raspy morning voice as she wrapped her arms around me from behind and rested her head inbetween my shoulders.

"Good morning love" I said as I started to get the cups ready for our coffee. After I had poured the coffee into the cups she had let go and grabbed both cups and carried them over to the table and I followed with the two plates of pancakes. We both sat in a comfortable silence before we both had to get ready for Jamie's graduation. After I had my shower, I was looking at my dress blues thinking whether it's good to wear it or not. I don't know whats exactly going to happen today with my parents, because I can guess that my mum told my dad what happened on the phone while Jamie was there for spring break. So I decided on wearing a maroon dress shirt with black trousers and my black oxfords. After I was finished I sat on the sofa waiting for Lizzie to finish getting ready. She decided on wearing a black dress with a red cardigan and black heels. I was left in a trance and didn't realise that she was talking to me.

"Hey baby. Are you OK?" She asked me with a look of concern on her face.

"Umm yeah, you look gorgeous" I told her as I pulled her in for a kiss. "So shall we then"

I held out my hand out for her which she intertwined our hands as we made our way to the car. The drive there was very quick. As we walked in and took our seats I noticed my parents a few rows down from us which caused me to exhale sharply.

"Hey, you OK baby?" Lizzie asked as she took my hand in hers.

"Yeah I'm fine love. Just my parents our just over there near the front" I told her as she gave my hand a gentle squeeze. The graduation ceremony went on for a while. When Jamie got called up, he had a smile on his face which got bigger when I stood up clapping out of my seat. I didn't care that they would see me, all I cared about was that today is Jamie's day and he made me proud. He managed to do something that I couldn't.

After the ceremony was over, we waited for him to finish with my parents before he made his way over to Lizzie and myself. As soon as he reached us Lizzie pulled him in for a hug before he came over to me.

"I'm so proud of you Jamie" I told him as I pulled him into a hug.

"It's so good to see you Y/N. Nice to see you home in one piece" he said as he pulled out of the hug.

"Well we should do something before you start work or wherever you end up going." I told him with a smile.

"I would like...." He started but was soon cut off by someone I didn't want to talk to.

"Well well, it looks like the failure showed up" my dad said as he reached us.

"Can we not do this here" I told him as I stepped closer to Lizzie.

"Well when do you expect to talk. You never see us anymore." Mum said with a frown.

"You know very well why I don't talk to you anymore" I told them before I turned to Jamie. "I'm so proud of you. Just give us a text when you want to meet up." I told him as Lizzie and I started towards the car. The parking lot had started to empty as everyone was going there own way to celebrate.  As I reached for Lizzie's door I heard him shouting my name so I quickly opened it for her to get in which she did before I turned around to see my dad inches from my face.
