While the city was asleep, the security at the Mustafu Facility Prison was under tight watch. Ever since the Prefrontal War, they had tightened up their security, with more highly trained guards, searchlights, and top notch security cameras with mounted lasers.
One guard was walking all by himself, until he heard a voice, "PUT YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR!". After screaming like a little girl, the guard turned around and saw it was just a fellow guard.
"Come on Kasumi!" he responded, but the guard could not stop laughing. "Come on man, I got you good, admit it!". Kasumi said in between his bursts of laughter. "Yeah, I guess so." he admitted sheepishly, but Kasumi could not stop laughing. "Alright we get it." the guard said. "Come on, quit screwin' around! It wasn't that funny!", but it was no use.
"Knock it off, you're acting like a complete-" but before he could finish his sentence, a small blue ball flew in from out of nowhere, seemingly trapping him inside. "Nice work" whispered Kasumi. "Let's get a move on." a voice said in response.
They continued on, with Kasumi being assisted by a tall man in a top hat. "Admit it, I played that off like a champ!" said Kasumi. "You sure did." the man in the hat said in response, giving the guard a little head pat. They dodged a few more security guards until they finally made their way to the containment row, where villains who could not be properly contained by a normal jail cell were held. Kasumi swiped his security card and led the two inside.
In containment cell 3 laid a strange woman. She was tall and slender, with dark hair and red skin like that of a demon. She had long horns on her head that slightly twisted as they reached the tip. Her nails were very long, and could possibly cut through skin if enough pressure was applied. She laid in her bed emotionlessly, staring at the same walls that she had gotten familiar with over the past few years.
The cell door finally opened, with the guard and strange man walking in. "What do you need from me?" the woman in the bed asked. "We're here to grant you your freedom!" the guard said. After saying that, he turned into a teenage girl with blonde hair and vampire fangs. "That's right." replied the man in the hat, "Ms. Suimakuma, you have finally hit parole!" "Alright! Let's scram!" the demon lady said, with her fists pumped in front of her, ready to get dirty again.
The three troublemakers left the cell, with the blue ball sitting in the bed where Suimakuma previously lay. The ball opened after they slammed the door shut, "-jackass, wait, whuh?", the guard realized he had been duped! Now he was the one behind bars.
"Security!" he called while holding onto his belt, "We have an emergency!". No answer came. He had no connection from inside the cell. He banged on the door over and over again, desperate to get somebody, anybody's attention.
Alarms started blaring, with the three renegades having finally broken out. "That was close!" the girl said. "Well folks," Suimakuma said, "It's good to be back!" A van rolled up at high speed. "Quick, get in!" called a lizard-like man behind the wheel. They hopped in and drove off, but they had company. Police cars and military Humvees were in hot pursuit.
"Shoot!" yelled Toga, "We've got company!" "Iguchi, step on it!" yelled Compress. Police cars had surrounded both sides of the van, creeping in on them in an attempt to sandwich them. The van hit the brakes at just the right time, causing the two cop cars to slam into each other, and then sped up, rear ending the two police cars, sending them spinning out of control.
The van followed one of the police cars until it finally stopped spinning. The two police, while still determined, found themselves very dizzy, too dizzy to start the car back up. The villains got out of the van, knocked out the two policemen and "borrowed" some of their clothes. Toga and Compress switched out their outfits for the police uniforms and hid Suimakuma and Spinner in the backseat. The villains took off in their police car, leaving the two unconscious police officers in the back of their van in nothing but their undergarments.
The end of the road before the tunnel leading to the city had been blocked off, with police anticipating the van's arrival, only to see a police car approaching them. The window rolled down, with Compress disguised as an officer. "We wrecked their van, but they managed to escape off into who-knows-where. We'll go patrol the city while you guys stick around." While a little befuddled at first, the chief replied, "Seems in order. Good luck finding them!" The police car full of incognito baddies rolled right by, en route to their own destination.
The van sped across the city, late at night. The runaways were veering left and right barely dodging traffic. "Where did you learn how to drive?" asked Suimakuma, but she was drowned out by Toga, who was screaming and cheering like she was on a roller coaster, "Come on, it's more fun if you put your hands up!"
After exiting traffic, they made their way to an old abandoned warehouse, which used to serve as a steel-factory. They entered a room that used to serve as the boss' office. The place was in a state of disrepair, as paper lay everywhere, but it was a place where nobody could find them. "Welcome to your new home, Miss Suimakuma." said the lizard man as they entered. They each sat down in a chair and started their team meeting.
Toga started by saying, "Let me just say, I have admired you for SO many years!" Mr. Compress added, "That stunt you pulled fifteen years ago still sends my blood pumping. We have been trying to get a hold of you for a very long time!". Igchi added on, "That's why we decided to break you out, because we all admire you. In return, we would be honored to assist you in any plan of yours." Suimakuma was flattered, but finally regained focus.
"Now that you're out of prison, what is your idea of making a grand comeback?" asked Compress. Suimakuma thought for a second and perked up, "You know what? After all those years behind bars, I have found the perfect plan. Something that will set the world on fire. But first, we owe the U.A. Academy a little visit. We might even end up bringing home a few souvenirs" The demonic lady looked to her left, "Now Toga, tell me everything you know about your friends from Class 1A".
Editor's Note: Thanks for tuning into this week's chapter of Forget Me Not. As I am typing this up, I have reached over 100 views on this story! Thank you all so much for your support, it means the world to me!
As you can tell, I had a lot of fun working on this one, as not only is Toga a fun character to write for, but I finally got the chance to introduce my new original character for this story, Suimakuma. She is a succubus-like character, but more about her and her quirk will be revealed later. Her name is made from the combination of two Japanese words, "Suimin", which means "Sleep", and "Akuma", which means "Demon", making her name translate to "Sleep Demon", a perfect summary of what a succubus is. I am also in the process of designing her, maybe we will see a drawing of her in a future chapter.
In the meantime, next week's chapter has been giving me a bit of a hassle, but I promise I will do my best to have it up next Wednesday as per schedule. See you then!
