The bell rang and Class 1A took their seats. Their teacher was not in the room at the moment, but there was somebody unofficially taking his place.
"All right, the bell has rung!" a blue haired student in glasses shouted while chopping his hand like he was practicing karate, "Everybody take your seats and sit uniformly until Mr. Aizawa arrives!" Just then, Mr. Aizawa stepped in the room, "That'll do Iida, that'll do." Iida sat back down, a little embarrassed for being called out like that, but proud of himself for holding down the fort for the past fifteen seconds.
"Class, we have some very important news, it is rational that you listen closely and not tell anyone outside of the campus until you are permitted to do so." The class went dead silent, as the students focussed on what Aizawa had to say.
"As you are all aware, we lost our Modern Hero Art teacher and pro hero Midnight during the War three months ago." The students nodded mournfully, while it had been a while, they were still torn up over the loss of such a great hero and an amazing friend. After taking a moment to recollect himself, Aizawa continued, "In light of this, we have tried some...experimentation. As you all know Eri has a power that can return people to a previous stage in their life." The class stayed silent.
"As a result, we have managed to restore Midnight to being alive and healthy again. However, she can't remember anything about her life prior to her death on the battlefield. It is rational that you students don't overwhelm her, as she is still very confused and adapting to her new life. That is why I will be asking some of you students who were close to her to spend some time around her. Doing so will not only help her feel more comfortable being here, but may even boost her memory."
He turned to the doorway "You may enter now." Kayama slowly walked through the doorway. Before she could say anything, the class burst out of their seats and rushed up to hug her. "Hey slow down!" Aizawa yelled, but even he was sort of touched by the moment.
As some of the students let go and sat back down, one tall student with long raven hair tied into a ponytail still held on. She was squeezing Midnight very tightly and crying into her shoulder. "I've been working so very hard!" she sobbed, "You're the one that's been pushing me to do better than I ever have before. That's the last thing you told me to do before you...before you...", she sobbed harder.
"It's ok, thank you for never giving up on me." Midnight said. She was unsure of what else to say, but could tell that this girl missed her dearly and that she had a huge impact on her life. "She has been pushing herself beyond her limits, trying to get better and better everyday, striving to become the best her. That must be what Plus Ultra really means." she thought to herself.
Eventually, the raven haired girl let go and took her seat. The class introduced themselves one by one. The raven haired girl went first, introducing herself as Momo Yaoyorozu, or Creati. She could create objects from her body fat as long as she knew its chemical formula. Midnight was fascinated and saw that they had a couple of things in common. They were both young ladies with dark hair who had a quirk involving something coming out of their skin.
She also got to know the rest of the class, including a studious young boy with green hair who knew everything about her and the other heroes, a hard as nails yet gentle as a lamb boy with red hair, and a short boy with purple balls attached to his head. After stating his name, he muttered something about her "hot body", until a girl with long green hair tied into a ribbon smacked him across the face with her long tongue.
