“Mum, where’s Ronnie, he promised to take me to the park with Aunt Lissa, Derek and Aunt Katy,” Cass asked, she was now 8 and incredibly like Josh.

I’d best explain. You see, when I left England I moved in with Ricky as you all know. Motionless In White went on Warped Tour and Cass and I tagged along, well You Me At Six and Bring Me The Horizon were there and Josh wanted to see Cass, I wasn’t going to deprive him of that, yet again.

Anyway, we met a load of bands, and became good friends with them, particularly a small band named Falling In Reverse. I wasn’t too keen on a lot of the guys but, one very quiet member caught my eye. He was the definition of beautiful. His eyes were as blue as oceans and I definitely could get lost in them for hours. I knew this man. Jackson Casey Vincent, or Jacky Vincent to you and me. I hadn’t seen him since I was 10 years old, he was my best friend at school and moved when he was 10 to go elsewhere, the last I heard he had moved to the US and joined a band, and little did I know it would be Falling In Reverse. As soon as he saw me we ran at each other and just held each other in a long and well needed embrace. I’d just found my best friend who stood by me before we started school, held my hand on the first day and stayed by my side until the very last day of Year 5, and wasn’t prepared to let him go again.

Josh brought his new girlfriend Lauren on tour with him and she wasn’t what I was expecting, she was lovely and became a great step-mum to Cass. Cass loved her.

Back to Warped, I was hanging with YM@6 and BMTH, there was a new-ish band that had just gotten signed wandering around looking lost and as if they were going to give up, there was a man in a business suit yelling at them. One member ran a hand through his hair and walked away, the rest of the band following.

“Hey Nick, what’s up,” Dan Flint asked them. The guy who I assumed was Nick replied, “Our singer left the group this morning for some stupid modelling career and girl band, if we want to perform, we need a singer. It wouldn’t be a good idea asking random lead singers to fill in when we kind of need a semi-permanent singer until we can find a replacement.” It was then that MIW, FIR, and the rest of You Me At Six walked up to us.

“Alex can sing,” Jacky told, this Nick guy. Ricky nodded.

“That was years ago,” I said. "I haven't sang since......since I was like 15."

"Don't lie, you sing H.I.M to Cass," Ricky said.

"RICKY!" I scolleded him.

"What? All I'm saying is you're good," He said.

“Do you know anything by Paramore or WATIC?” The shortish guy with glasses asked. I later found out his name to be Dylan.

“I guess,” I answered.

“Good, we’re on in 20 minutes go warm up,” Nick said to me shoving a set list to me. Thank god I knew the covers they were doing.

The show turned out great, and I was asked as we got off stage by the man in the business suit, if I would become the permanent lead singer of the band. I enjoyed my time on stage and I was doing something I dreamed of doing. I agreed. We signed the contract, and the band was named Amongst Destiny and put on the Warped Tour posters.

Back to Jacky. We started dating after the end of Warped and it went pretty well. 1 year after we officially became a couple, we got engaged and 6 months later, my brother, walked me down the aisle. It was that day that I became Mrs. Jacky Vincent. Becky, Lissa, Katy and Hannah came over from home to be bridesmaids for me, and funnily enough, Becky hit it off incredibly well with Ryan Seaman, Lissa hit it off with Ronnie Radke and Katy with Derek Jones. Yes, 4 best friends going out with 4 band mates and best friends. Jacky was a great step-father to Cass and I couldn’t love him any more than I do.
