I knocked on the door. No answer. From what I gathered they were out looking as they were around when we came off stage.
"Knock again, they might be upstairs, or Ryan's probably in at the toilet as per usual," Ben said placing a hand on my arm.
I nodded before knocking again. The bus driver Dave opened the door, "Sorry Mrs Vincent, I had to use the loo, Jacky's upstairs."
"Thanks," I said. I could hear Josh and Sam hiss under their breath when Jacky was mentioned.
We walked on board and headed for the staircase.
"Jacky," I said opening the curtain to the bunk area. No answer.
"Jack," I said opening our old bunk curtain. Jacky's stuff was there no Jacky. It was then that I realised the small Architects jacket that Sam had custom made for Cass at the start of Warped Tour. I must have left it here. I picked it up and hugged it to me.
I continued walking to the upper back lounge where I heard a slight humming. Jacky. I opened the door to see Jacky sitting on the sofa, with a fluffy blanket covering him and the small shape next to him. That was no normal small shape that was my small shape. Cass. I breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of my little girls tear stained face lying on Jacks chest as he hugged her to him and hummed Hold Me by Tom Odell to her. She looked content and happy where she was.
"Hey Alex," Jacky said looking up.
"Jacky where did you find her?" I asked in slight disbelief, walking towards the pair.
"I found her sat on the bus steps, crying may I add," Jacky answered.
"Why didn't you call?" I asked.
"I did, 12 times, I found out when Patty answered your phone that Sean had your phone but you ran off before anyone could give you the phone, in case they found her," Jacky explained.
I shook my head. Well done Alex.
"Jacky, what's going on?" Cass asked stirring out of her sleep.
"Your Mummy has come to get you," Jacky answered her.
"Is Daddy there?" Cass asked.
A look of sadness washed over Jack's face before he forced a smile and answered "Yes".
"Hey Cass," Josh said sitting behind me. Sam followed and sat on the poufy next to me. Ben and James taking the floor.
"I've text the guys to get word out that we've found her," James said. I nodded my thanks.
"Cass what happened?" I asked. Cass snuggled further into Jacky and he hugged her tightly to him.
"There was a man. At the other side of the stage and I think it was a monster actually mummy," Cass said.
"There's no such thing as monsters," Josh said.
"YES THERE IS JOSH," Cass yelled. "IT WAS GOING TO GET MUMMY AND KILL HER."
Josh looked shocked when Cass didn't call him Dad. In fact he looked upset.
"Don't talk to your Dad like that," Jacky said. I nodded my thanks to him which Josh also did.
"Sorry, but there was a monster it waved at me," Cass explained. "It - it had long hair an ugly horrible face and normal hands."
"Hang on a minute Cass," I asked stopping my little girl from going any further. "Was it wearing a white apron with "blood" down it?"
"Yes Mummy, you saw it too," Cass said.
I began to laugh. Josh, Ben, James, Sam and Jacky looked at me as if I was mental. Cass looked upset at my laughing so I thought I'd best explain.
