"Thank you guys, you're the best we love you," I yelled as I walked offstage as my band members played the last note of The Last Garrison. Yet another great performance and the crowd were really into it. Unfortunately Motionless In White had a set at the same time as us therefore meaning that Chris couldn't come up to sing Angel Eyes with us. However, I did manage to rope in the help from our band friend and my family friend Sam Carter from Architects to do the unclean vocals for it. He was more than happy to help so yeah, and the crowd loved him too. Although it's Chris on the CD and video, Sam definitely could give him a run for his money. I waited at the side so that I could hug Patty, Dylan, Nick and Joel before heading down the steps to our friends.

"You're vocals were amazing today Lex," Nick complemented me as he hugged me.

"You weren't too bad yourself," I said hugging him back. We laughed but that didn't last for long as we heard an almighty crash and a loud noise from behind the curtain and down the steps where our friends were waiting. Cass. Automatically my motherly instincts set in.

"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MY BEST FRIEND," Someone yelled.

My band mates all looked at each other before we ran through the curtain and down the steps to see a very angry, make that extremely angry Josh, a guilty looking Matt Barnes, who was holding his bleeding nose, Lauren crying and Chris, Dan and Max not knowing who to help or cheer for (mainly in Max's case bless him).

"What's going on?" I asked as I approached Dan.

"Like you didn't already know?" Josh asked me sarcastically. "Matthew here kissed my girlfriend, who told her."

"Who's her? The cats mother? Talk to me like that again Franceschi and it won't be Matt holding a bleeding nose, it'll be you and it won't be your nose either; it will be much worse. If you continue having this attitude Joshua I will, and this is a promise make sure that I have full custody over Cass and you will never see her again, understand," I said sternly. I wouldn't do that, take Cass away again, it was just a threat so he'd calm down. It obviously worked as he took a very large gulp and took a few steps away from me. By now our once small group had attracted the attention of Asking Alexandria, Miss May I, Blessthefall, Escape The Fate, BMTH, Tonight Alive, All Time Low and We Are The In Crowd.

"Right Franceschi, I'm not the one in the wrong here but I have a few questions, who told you?" I asked, as I pulled Lauren to stand behind me.

"John Taylor, heard you when he was walking past his bus this morning to get back to his own," Josh said. I scowled. Taylor, I should have known.

"But I did tell him myself to confirm it," Lauren shook behind me. I placed my hand on hers as if to reassure her. Josh smirked in disgust and began to walk away.

"Aye, Franceschi, I'm not done with you, get your arse back here right now mister so we can sort this out," I said using the tone of voice I'd used on Cass when she decided it would be a good idea to draw all over her bedroom walls with felt pens that Mike Ferri bought her on her 7th birthday, but that's another story. Josh stopped and didn't turn around - I now see that Cass had inherited the stroppy attitude from her father.

"No," He said.

"Stop acting like your daughter Josh and come over here and be a grown up," I said. He came back over and stood opposite me, pulling the same face Cass did when she was annoyed, on Cass it was cute, on Josh it was funny, but a tad scary.

"Look, I'm sorry Josh, but you knew Lauren was my first love and I couldn't lose her. I just went the wrong way about it," Matt said taking Lauren from behind me and hugging her close to him.

"Have her Matt, I never was good enough for her, she deserves better, I'm an arsehole and I don't deserve anyone. And I'm sorry for punching you, look I'm going for a walk, I don't know when I'll be back, I need a break and air," Josh said. He looked so torn up and broken. It was awful to witness, but he was alone yet again. I left him, Lauren left him, heck even bloody Dianna left him, the guy was amazing but no-one saw him for him. I was an idiot to let him go but I had to protect Cass. I admit back then I was scared to have a baby in the limelight, but actually no-one bothers us. He began to walk away.
