How the hell was I supposed to reply to something like that? Indeed I did have Jacky, but I was still in love with Josh.
"Alex, love please say something. Anything?" Josh pleaded with me.
"I...... I don't know what to say Josh. I know you and Lauren have just broken up and I know I have Jacky, what I guess I'm trying to say is that I- I love you too," I stuttered.
"You do?" He asked. I nodded.
He was about to say something else when my phone rang, "Crawling back to you..." Matt Barnes.
"Hello."
"Hi Alex, is Josh alright?"
"He's fine." I said.
"Ok, erm... we're staying at The Hamilton tonight so when you and Josh are on your way back go to the hotel and not the bus."
"Alright, thanks Matt," I said and hung up.
Josh looked at me confused.
"Sleeping arrangements for this evening, turns out we are staying next door, in the hotel," I said.
"Oh yey, I'll probably have to stay with Matt or Max, they are the last 2 people I want to see right now. In fact I don't want to see any of my band right now," He said putting his head in his hands. I pulled his hand away from his face and held it in my own.
"Josh, you need to face them sooner rather than later, and remember it's not your fault," I said as I rose from my chair and hugged him into me. His breathing slowed to a normal pace and I pulled away.
"Come on, let's get back, these poor workers look sick of us and are probably wanting to shut up shop," I said taking Josh's hand again and pulling him up from his seat.
We thanked the workers and left an extra $10 for them as they looked sick and they had the late night shift at the shop.
We walked into the hotel to find Ryan Seaman and Dan sitting in the reception area drinking a cup of tea.
"Floor 8 room 824 is where you should find Jacky, Alex," Ryan said and handed me the card to my room. I thanked him and hugged him and Dan before heading to the elevator to go up to my room. Josh not far behind me as it appeared he was staying further down the hall.
"I have a room to myself thank god," Josh said. I smiled as the elevator doors opened and we got out on our floor. I said goodbye to Josh and continued walking towards my room.
Jacky's P.O.V
I planned this out so much. She still cared for Josh and who was I to stop that. In fact I knew that she still loved him. I couldn't stop her from being with the man she truly did love. I knew what I had to do.
The door opened and my beautiful wife walked through the door and sat down next to me on the bed.
"Hey," She whispered kissing my cheek. "Babe, what's wrong?" She knew me too well.
"Alex, you know I love you so so much," I started.
"I love you too," She said. I smiled slightly.
"But, I'm not the right person for you."
"Jacky what are you saying? You're perfect."
"No, I mean I want you to be happy. I want you to be with Josh and grow old with him. He obviously still loves you and you still love him, I know you Alex."
"So you want to split up?" She said looking at me like a lost puppy.
"No I don't, but I want you to be happy, and Josh is the one that will make you happy. I love you more than life itself and I don't want to lose you. Do you still love him?"
