Marinette woke up very tired, she wished she could continue sleeping, but Madame Bustier was making breakfast and it was really loud. Marinette groaned as she got out of bed.

Alix and Mylene were in the living room, hanging out with Juleka and Rose. They were playing a game of cards. "Morning Marinette," Mylene greeted, not looking up from the game, "would you like to...." she trailed off when she looked up at Marinette.

"Are you okay? You seem...tired..." Marinette rubbed her eyes and yawned. "Yeah, I guess I am. How do you guys just WAKE up so early?" Marinette was always so surprised to see them playing whatever card game they could in the morning.

"We love playing cards, you know that. Plus, we try to get in at least a game of Nervous Breakdown or Speed or maybe even Poker, with candy of course. Ever since Madame Bustier introduced us to American card games, we've always loved playing them. You should try it sometime." Rose said with cheerfulness.

"Err-maybe." Marinette went back into their room and got changed into her clothes. Marinette yawned again as Alya entered the room, looking at her phone.

"Mornin'" she said, then realized Alya wasn't listening and went over to her. Alya's eyes were glued to her phone, she was watching a video.

"And here we are with Mr. Wayne. Could you please tell us about your sidekick, Robin?" The news reporter asked. Bruce folded his arms. "If you'd like to get to know him, why don't you ask the kid himself?" The obviously new reporter's eyes sparkled with a new kind of curiosity.

As Damian came into the living room, only with his bathrobe on, his eyes widened in suprise as the reporter came up to him.

"Mr. Damian Wayne. You are the famous Robin, correct?"

"Umm, yes."

"Great, now how famous would you consider yourself?"

"Uh, not very. I mean, I only help Batman with the super serious missions." The reporter nodded.

"So you're a very important hero, correct?"

"N-no! I'm just a sidekick, not really anything more," Damian said with a nervous laugh. The reporter frowned.

"Well, if you're only a sidekick, why does Batman need you in very...what's the word? Dire situations." Damian took a step back. Bruce walked in front of Damian, as if to guard him.

"That's enough questions, you better go home now." The reporter pouted, but did as she was told. Just as she was about to leave though, she said, "if a powerful hero can't even defeat a villain without assistance, you might as well consider yourself a hero as well."

And with that, the reporter left the Wayne mansion. Damian stared at the place that the reporter had just occupied. Looking at the ground, he whispered, "am I a hero...?" Bruce looked at him and said, "not currently, but if you believe you are and use that perseverance and determination, I'm sure you'll get there."

Bruce patted Damian on the shoulder and left to go start on breakfast. Damian sighed. Was he a hero? Or just merely a sidekick, who people only know because he works with Batman?

Damian may be Robin, but deep down, he was just a lost kid.

"Wow, that seemed pretty intense." Alya mumbled to no one in particular after the news video had stopped. Marinette frowned.

"If he didn't believe he was a hero, why does he work with Batman? If he doesn't consider himself one, he might as well not be one." Alya looked at Marinette, clearly surprised.

"Are you still mad at him?" She asked.

"Of course I am! Who wouldn't be? Wouldn't you?" Marinette got up and left the room, leaving Alya alone, shaking her head.
