Damian...Damian...he's not your family...he's not your friend...don't listen to him...he doesn't deserve you...he doesn't consider you a hero...betray him...Betray Him...BETRAY HIM!

"Ahhh!!" Damian cried, waking up. Damian was taking large shaky breaths. He looked down at his hands and realized they were shaking.

Damian put his hand up to his face, trying to calm down. He took a deep breath, and counted to 10. It was a patience and calming-down exercise Bruce had taught him.

Damian got out of bed but realized he could barely stand up, so he just sat back down on his bed. He checked the time it said on his clock: 4:24 AM. Damian sighed. He was never going to be able to fall back asleep now. If he woke up, he could never fall back asleep.

He laid back in bed and folded his hands behind his back. He thought about the voice he had heard in his dream. It was a deep and dangerous voice, one he wouldn't trust as far as he could convince Bruce to hate bats again.

When the clock turned to 5:00, Damian got out of bed and went into the kitchen, finally calmed down, for the most part.

He took the orange juice out of the fridge and poured a glass. Bruce came in because he had heard Damian close the fridge door and sat down at the table.

"What're you doing up?" He asked.

"Oh! I was just- uh grabbing some juice. But, I woke up because of a nightmare." Damian didn't want to tell Bruce about the dream, not yet. He couldn't tell his guardian that the same voice kept reappearing in his head over and over again, almost every night.

Bruce sighed. "Just, make sure you don't make any more noise, I'm going back to bed. You'd better do the same soon." Damian nodded. He'd try to, but it wouldn't work.

The whole day, the girls pitched in to gather things to start putting the damage back to its former glory. They were all assigned different jobs, and Marinette's was to get food, wallpaper, and carpet for the rooms that had unfortunately been destroyed.

Marinette was given $86 to go buy the needs for their orphanage.

Marinette entered the store and went straight to the foods aisles. She bought turkey, steak, ribs, bananas, apples, tomatoes, and so on so forth.

Marinette picked out the rugs because Madame Bustier said quote on quote that "you have great taste and an amazing sense of fashion and style."

She picked out a beautiful lavender carpet.

She decided to instead of getting wallpaper, get a paint bucket

She decided to instead of getting wallpaper, get a paint bucket. She found a sky blue paint. Marinette knew this would be perfect for the rooms and headed to the cashier to pay for everything.

As Marinette headed out, she suddenly felt herself bump into something.

"Gah!" she cried out. The person she had bumped into had toppled on the ground as well. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, I'm so so-"

Marinette stopped herself and she saw who she had run into. It was no other than the boy she despised, Robin, or right now, Damian Wayne.

"Oh, you again," Marinette said to him in a sharp and angry voice.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not the one who bumped into you klutz," Damian replied. Marinette rolled her eyes. Damian looked down at the stuff Marinette had to carry.

"Ladybugs? Really?" Marinette's face heated up. She did have fabric with a ladybug design on it, or rather spots. "Yes," Marinette said with confidence, picking up the groceries. "And I don't need you to make fun of my stuff birdie."

Damian's face went stone hard. Marinette smirked. "If you don't want me making fun of you, don't make fun of me," she said, flicking her short pigtails at him. Damian's face went beat red. Then he relaxed and smirked.

"Oh, I actually think I'm enjoying making fun of you, bugaboo" (i'm sorry any ladynoir and adrienette shippers, but i had to do this, please don't come kill me)

Marinette stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes began to fill up with tears and she whirled her head around.

"Don't call me that!" she screamed at him. Then, she bolted off down the street, crying and was pretty fast for having to carry so many groceries at once. She left the confused Damian on the curb, not wanting to ever see him again.
