Damian told Marinette everything and sucked in a breath, waiting for her answer.
"Sooo why did you actually say we were dating again?" Damian sighed. "I'm sorry! It just slipped, and I was being pressured! It's kind of hard to handle everything at once."
"But I thought you were the famous 'Robin'."
"I am, but I just- look all I want you to do is to pretend to be my girlfriend for a bit, just so I can shake off the reporters and stuff."
"You want me to lie to a whole bunch of people, including your adoptive father? Bruce Wayne, Batman."
"Just for a little bit! I swear, then things will go back to normal and you won't have to talk to me again. We can pretend we broke up or something."
Marinette narrowed her eyes at him. "What's in it for me?" she asked.
Damian thought for a moment. "Hmmm....." An idea popped into his head. "You like fashion, right? Well, you can use our studio and the fabric. We don't use them anyway." Marinette's eyes lit up.
"How do I know I can trust you?" She questioned.
Damian sighed. "I can't ask you to trust me, or convince you to trust me, that's for you to learn to do." Marinette took in these words, thought about it and said one word,
"Fine."
Damian and Marinette shook on it. Marinette would pretend to be his girlfriend in exchange for being able to use their fabric and make clothes in their studio.
