When she describes her CAD drawings, Faith's eyes and expressions are like watching a movie with multifaceted characters.

Going from animated when she mentions her favorite sketch to scrunching her adorable, kissable nose when she comes across a half-finished one, it's all very entertaining, and I just may be falling in love with her a bit.

Just maybe...

No. The objective is to change her cynical opinion on love...if anyone's gonna lose through these "dates," it's going to be her. She tugs at her hair and then releases it only to do it again while deciding which sketch to add to the proposal pile for pitching to the rest of the guys. I may have little to no experience in the 3D modeling world, but I can indeed say that as I build my own basic sketch of Faith, I ought to start learning.

The sun has some competition...actually, no, it doesn't. The brightest star in the Milky Way pales in comparison to the stunningly beautiful woman in front of me. From the way she confidently embraces her femininity, to her creative and ingenious mind, to her wickedly sexy body that accents every part of her.

Especially her legs. Holy shit. The way her ankles cross so perfectly over one another, with the tan, A-line mini skirt riding up ever so slightly....

"And that's all the designs I am thinking about showing to the others," she finishes, snapping me out of my partial daydream.

"You wanna continue this in the library?" I abruptly suggested, surprising even myself.

She cutely tilts her head in confusion and leans forward. "Everything okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost."

I mean, she wasn't technically wrong. However, between my brother just walking into the coffee shop, together with Kacey and Faith's concerned stare, I can barely resist the urge to storm up to him and drill him with questions, so instead, I forcibly nod, acknowledging that I'm fine. Luckily, she gets up to ask for her drink to-go, and we head out before she has a chance to formulate the question I wasn't quite ready to answer.

The barista interrupts my thoughts when he asks me for the second time what I want to order.

"A medium lemon chamomile tea, please," I respond, but still only partially attentive.

They nod and shoo me away to prepare to help the next customer. Kacey reappears in the engineering section of the books. She turns around, catching my gaze and gives me a shy smile, with an architecture book in her right hand, clutched to her chest.

For a split second, her passion for what she loves instantly reminds me of Faith. She tries to take me towards the front door with our drinks in hand, but I guide Kacey towards a booth instead, her back facing her roommate. I watch with pained regret as they leave, and memories of Faith and I resurface when Aidan's arm rests on her right shoulder.

She gives him her classic warm smile, her aura radiating through the coffee shop but turning ice cold when it reaches me.
