*Max's P.o.V*
The sky gets darker and darker while we move forward. I don't think it's just going to rain but let's pray that the sky stays dark and doesn't turn green.
I felt a wet drop on me and I know everyone else does because they all stop walking and look up. A loud bang makes us all jump but after the bang comes rain.
The rain feels really cool and refreshing. Lilly has started dancing in joy then everyone else hollers in relief. I tilt my head back with my arms wide open and spin around. When I stop I look at everyone who has their mouths wide open, drinking the rain.
"Open your bottles," I try to tell everyone but it is hard to hear with the rain pouring so I take out mine and open it. I raise my hand high up enough so the rain water gets in. When I look around, the group has caught on and are doing the same. It takes awhile to fill the bottles up because we drink what's in there before it can reach the top. I take out empty bottles that I saved up from my bag and fill them up as well.
A loud bang with a blinding flash makes me drop a bottle. I refuse to pick it up because there's no way to clean it so I just leave it on the ground. As I look around us, we are in danger because lighting could strike a tree right next to us and fall or catch on fire.
"We should probably keep moving!" I yell to try to get someone's attention but it's not working. Lilly looks at me then heads over.
"Don't be a party pooper. Come on!" She says while grabbing my hand to dance but I try to hold back but I fall on the slippery mud almost taking Lilly with me. I look up to her and she just laughs while shrugging. When I get up, I try to wipe the mud off me but it isn't doing no good so I leave it be. Lilly moved over to the group to have fun.
I find me a tree close by that blocks some of the rain but not all of it. I'm also making sure I don't touch the tree just in case lightning strikes it. I crouch down to rest while watching everyone have fun. Someone has to keep guard because having fun lowers your guard and everyone besides me is having fun. I'm just glad that we have water and it's not scorching.
I see a bolt of lighting hit a tree close by. Hopefully it won't affect us. After awhile I smell something burning mixed with the rain and blood. I look back over to the tree that got hit and I see smoke. It might not be heading our way but better safe than sorry.
When I reach the group, I decided to go to Harry first because I know he'll understand.
"Harry we," he shushes me and grabs my hand and back then we start dancing around. "Harry, it's important." I urgently try to get his attention but he is just enjoying himself.
He finally stops us while looking in my eyes but then he closes his and leans forward. I know what he's going to do and now is not the time so I slap him and back away. He looks at me with wide eyes while holding his cheek. Everyone stops and looks towards us because I know the slap must've been loud since his face and my hand is wet.
"There is a fire near and all you guys are doing is dancing?" I have to raise my voice so they can hear me through the heavy rain. I point towards the fire when everyone gives me confused facial expressions.
"The rain should put it out," Kay says and I shake my head no. He raises up his arms and shoulders.
"It would be out by now if it did. It's been so hot the trees and grass have dried so it's more prone to fire so we should get a move on." I tell them and they just stand there, ignoring me. "Fine," I roll my eyes and walk away from them.
When I turn around they're back to dancing except for Harry who just stands back and watches. When his eyes meet mine, I look away. I didn't really want to slap him but he wasn't going to listen any other way but that was useless since no one cares anyways. I can't believe he was about to kiss me though. I don't even know how to feel about it. I shake my head and look towards the fire.
