I look at her and the next thing I notice is that everything is pitch black.

"Get your guns out. We should shoot as many as we can." Fox tells everyone but I think it's a ridiculous idea when we can run to safety and save the bullets.

"We shouldn't do that. We should just run and save the bullets." I bravely tell him. Everyone else agrees.

"This better not have to deal with those girls." Fox snaps at me and I shake my head no. "Okay, lets move out." We all run north, not knowing where to go.

I really hope that Max and Lilly are alright. Max was acting strange like she was in another world so I hope she doesn't do anything dumb to risk their lives.

As I'm running with the group I hear Max's name being called out. Lilly. I stop and everyone else does to.

"Leave them be." Fox warns me.

"I can't just let them die." I snap at him while Lilly is still calling Max's name. I run towards the direction of the yelling hoping I don't run into any zombies. I probably should've just listened to Fox because now, if they go far while I'm on the detour, I will be lost.

Lilly's scream are getting louder as I close in on them. I wish she would be quieter so she doesn't attract any zombies in the area. They really aren't that far from where camp was.

I finally see Lilly but she's over a body on the ground. Max's body. My heart stops for a second. I run as fast as I can to them and when I reach them I gently push Lilly away from Max, who is on her back. I kneel down beside her and put my hand on her stomach to see if she's still breathing.

"What happened?" I ask Lilly frantically.

"She slowed down to almost a complete stop, then she fell. And now she won't wake up." Lilly says sobbing and shaking.

I try shaking Max and telling her to get up but she's completely knocked out. The zombies moaning gets louder by the second which signals that they're getting closer. I look around and I can see their silhouettes getting bigger. I have no choice but to carry Max, so I pick her up bridal style.

"Come on Lilly." I start to walk away but when I look back Lilly is just standing there. "Lilly, come on." I say, losing my patience. Luckily Kay comes from no where so I tell him to grab Lilly's hand and follow me.

We start running, well trotting, north again. I hope we lose the zombies. While we're moving I tell Kay what happened and he tells me that Fox told him to go after me. I know he meant to stop me but I don't want Lilly to know that. I'm glad I went because these girls are trying their hardest to survive and Max seems to know what to do.

After about a half hour, we start walking. Carrying a person while running a long time is tough, no matter how light the person is or how strong the carrier is. We don't need people passing out anymore.

We still haven't found the group. For sure if we were all going the same way we would've at least heard each other or met up at one point. Those bastards better not be trying to ditch us on purpose. Spoke too soon because we finally met them.

"So we meet again." Fox chuckles and I just ignore him. "Aw look, he's saving her." He says in a childish voice and I roll my eyes, sick of his shit.

"She passed out." I explain.

"She should've been smart enough to not pass out under these types of circumstances." He says.

"Well maybe if she wasn't so dehydrated or starving she wouldn't have!" I snap at him.
