"What's going to happen?" Lilly runs to me and grabs my arm. I look at Harry and his brows are raised as if asking me the same. Lilly calls my name while shaking my arm so I look at her.
"Grab your bag and run," I whisper to her. She shakes her head then looks towards Fox's direction with her eyes. "Do it," I need her to so we can escape.
"You gals aren't going nowhere," Fox must know what I'm trying to do. "If you take one step to the bags, I'll shoot both of ya," he gives us a deadly warning. I turn around and face him.
"Are you dumb?" I ask him and he looks at me with shock. He wasn't expecting this, I can tell. "I would rather save me and my sister than to die under your command," I spit at him and he just busts out laughing.
"You really think you would leave? You've already tried to do it twice but stopped and stayed," Fox laughs while shaking his head.
"Not this time," I'm positive I won't come back, even for Harry.
"Why do you want to leave?" Harry asks me with a concerned look. I sigh and put a hand on my forehead. He has to be kidding me.
"You probably know me best," Lilly coughs so I look over to her and she smiles with a wave. "Besides Lilly," I say with a slight smile. I look back to Harry. "So you should know what's going to happen soon if you recall something that just literally happened."
Harry has small frown going on. I grab Lilly's hand and walk her away while Fox and Dagmar head back into the R.V.
"Why are you acting so hostile like this?" Harry has the nerves to. I stop in my tracks and turn around.
"I am so done with you all, that's why."
"None of us did a thing to you," Harry is getting annoyed now.
"True, except for Fox," I say under my breath. "But you all are too dumb for any of us to live so I think it's better if I leave with Lilly." I grab her hand but she lets go.
"Why are you acting like this Max?" I wish she would just not ask and come with me. They're are zombies on our way which I'm beyond surprised that no one else expects them to come.
"More than likely lots zombies are coming here and we could get a head start away since Fox and the rest are to stupid to understand that," I explain to her and anyone else.
"So, we just can't leave our friends," Lilly has too good of a heart. I sigh and take a seat on the ground and put my head in my hands. Lilly sits beside me and rubs my back.
"How do you know that zombies are showing up?" Kay asks me.
"Fox shot a loud gun so of course the zombies, who are drawn to loud sounds, are going to come sooner or later," I tell everyone.
"But at least more than half were across the river so unless they can swim or remember the loud sound, highly doubt they are going to show up," Aero tells me and I nod my head.
"I suppose you're right. What about the bridge though?"
"They're not that smart, only you would think of that idea," Harry tells me with a tiny laugh and I smile.
"I'm sorry for exploding on you, well all of you. With what happened with Fox and no one understanding what's going to happen, it's quite stressful when you're trying to survive," I say with a head shake while plucking up grass. Everyone accepts my apology which I'm thankful for.
"I haven't seen you this stressful in a long time," Lilly tells me and I hug her.
"Well I want to keep you alive no matter what," I tell her with a smile and kiss and everyone is awed.
