*Max's P.o.V*

We caught up with the group in no time since they're trying to conserve energy due to the lack of supplies.

Tally wakes up every so often crying so I try to calm her down which works after a few minutes because she's so sick. Her snoring has become more labored which more than likely means she's not getting enough oxygen. Aero seems to be suffering the same thing since she stops every so often to catch her breath.

"If something were to happen, just go on without me alright?" Aero says while bending over to catch her breath.

"No, you have a right to survive like the rest of us." I tell her and she lightly smiles.

"Okay, if it's going to be dangerous to save me then ignore me. I won't hold it against ya'll." Aero must be giving up hope.

"Let's keep moving alright?" Lilly tells Aero and she nods and starts walking again.

Since Aero is walking slower than she was earlier, we are far behind from the group. I also hear a lot more than zombies than earlier which scares me.

"I can't go on no more." Aero says while sitting down on the ground and catching her breath between words. She puts her hands on her forehead in frustration.

"Why can't you?" Lilly sits beside her and asks.

"I just can't catch my breath." Aero is having a hard time speaking. "How's Tally?" Aero asks me and I check Tally's breathing.

"Her breathing is staggered as well," I inform her and she frowns. "You both must've been allergic to the poison."

"You mean we could've brought the food and water?" Lilly stands up and asks me with anger.

"Lilly, we didn't know what the poison was so it was better to leave them." I tell her and she just crosses her arms.

"I'm going with the group." Lilly then stomps away, leaving Harry and Aero with me. I sigh in frustration.

"I'm sorry Harry," maybe Lilly was right and I was wrong.

"We didn't know that the poison was specific." At least Harry understands me so I silently thank him.

All of the sudden, zombies show up out of the blue. They must sense that someone is dying. Aero quickly gets up and we all start running. My grip is hard on Tally because I don't want her to see and I don't want to drop her while I'm running.

Aero's breathing is becoming very heavy as we're running. I don't know how much longer she can make it. Then I hear her fall so I tell Harry to stop and he does. We look back towards Aero who is clutching her chest as if she can't breathe. She looks up at us with plead so I start to head towards her but Harry pulls me in and cradles me and Tally so I won't see what happens to her.

I hear the zombies tearing at Aero's flesh as Harry leads me away. I keep my head down and Tally's clothes are getting more damp by my tears.

"You know what Aero said." Harry reminds me but I can't help but to feel bad.

"She looked like she wanted us to help her though," I say through my tears while Harry rubs my back.

We finally catch up with the group since we aren't being slowed down. Harry tells them what happened while we walk to wherever. He also tells them about the two men that Lyra saw.

The next morning, I'm so tired because Tally's breathing kept on changing. Which is fine because someone needed to keep watch anyways.

"Can I have Berry?" Tally manages to speak. I call over Lilly to give her Berry and she does. Tally hugs Berry hard. "Thank you for watching over me." She says all of the sudden which freaks me out.

"Why are you saying that?" I ask her and she shrugs. About a minute later, she lets go of Berry and starts gasping for air.

"What's happening?" Lilly asks frantically through tears.

"I don't know!" I say just as frantic as Lilly. Harry then comes over and puts a hand on Tally.

"She's not breathing." He says the obvious. I try to give her CPR to revive her but after about ten minutes worth of trying, she's still not breathing.

I hold her in my arms and just cry my eyes out. Lilly hugs me, crying as well.

Harry and the rest of the group, except for Fox and Dagmar of course, start digging a small hole for Tally to lay in peace.

After about three hours later, the hole is dug deep and wide enough for her. I lay her in there gently while putting Berry in her arms, which are crossed. I then put a piece of dirt on her and everyone follows.

I don't have the energy to speak like I did at Lyra's funeral so I just continue walking to an unknown destination. The rest of the group follows my lead.
