''But Harry!'' Louis shouted.
''No Louis, we are returning home''
''Why? Why the fuck are we returning home?!''
''Because!'' I shouted back at him putting my jacket on, ''It's too much for me, I don't know what to do. I need to go back to Seattle and just.. just think it all over. If I'm really ready for searching after her and-''
''You seemed ready back in Seattle?''
''Yeah, but I'm not sure about it anymore''
Louis looked at me, with a disappointed look, but I did not dare to look back at him. I was aware of that if I looked back, and saw his disappinted look I would change my mind. And I did not want to change my mind, because now it felt like this was the right thing.
''Okay, but at least let me buy a car'' Louis eventually spoke, and I looked at him with a frown, ''Please? I'll pay, and I will buy a old cheap one, just so we can have one for a couple months before we can buy another one''
''Fine, buy a car. I will wait two hours, if you are not back until then I will take the flight back home to Seattle without you'' I rolled my eyes, and returned to the bed as Louis cheered happily and with a quick goodbye left the apartment.
I was so damn confused. I didn't know what to do, what to think. As Bella left, I felt that I would pass out any minute because everything just felt more difficult then it already was. Something felt that this was not for me, this wasn't my faith. I wasn't the person that was supposed to find her. It was not me that should've found the photograph. I made a mistake believeing that I will find her, because.. I couldn't handle this. It was too hard. And even if I finded out that her grandmother lived in Texas.. what would that help? Was I supposed to go there? And tell her what? Besides, she could be anywhere in Texas. And if it was hard to find her in San Francisco, it would be even harder to find her grandmother in freaking Texas. How could I even be sure that she is still alive? Maybe she died last year?
I sighed, and with anger threw the pillow at the wall.
''Who the fuck are you'' I spoke, looking up at the roof.
Who was she? And what did the girl from the photograph really want from me?
______
I settled down in the car seat and threw my bag into the back seat, then shut the door. Louis drummed his hands against the steering wheel and I sighed loudly and slumped down in the seat before looking at Louis.
''Can we..?'' I asked and looked down at the steering wheel and back at him.
Louis rolled his eyes as a respond before joining the traffic.
The car was old, as Louis said it would be. It was red, of course without a roof because it was Cali. I didn't quite understand how Louis was thinking of buying a car without a roof, bearing in mind that we were going all the way up to Seattle. But I did not care, I just wanted to get away from this and clear my mind.
''Twelve hours back to Seattle'' Louis sighed.
''Yeah, we can change after a while'' I spoke, and as soon as Louis drove faster, the hot wind blew my hair back and I closed my eyes.
''Are you going to sleep?'' Louis asked, and I nodded, ''Hey Harry..'' he suddenly spoke as the car slowed down because of the red light and I turned my head at him and opened one of my eyes, ''I want you to know that if you want to search after her again, I am still up for it'' he shrugged and smiled slightly at me.
I closed my eyes before my lips created a smile, and I patted his shoulder before turning my head away again.
''I know. Drive safe'' I spoke.
