Three days had passed, which meant that we had been with the Stromberg family for five days. Louis and I woke up early on Wednesday, meeting each other outside the bathroom as we both wanted to take a shower. But we both soon realized it was already occupied. And we soon got to see by who, as Daisy soon stormed out from the bathroom.

''Where are my shoes?'', she lowly hissed from the hall and we both carefully followed her as she fumbled around the amount of different shoes in the hall, ''Ah!'', she cheered as she found them and with a quick wave towards us, she disappeared outside, not even bothering to close the door as she held onto her books and bag.

Then, I heard her yelling after something, and a bus drove of the same second she managed to run down the porch and not dropping her books. She stamped hard of anger and sighed before she sat down on the last step to press down her books in the small bag of hers.

''We should..'', Louis began to speak and we both looked at each other.

''Yeah'', we agreed with a nod and only bothered to take our shoes on before getting out on the porch.

The young girl looked up at the two of us with a frown.

''Hi'', she sighed, ''want to walk me to school?'', she joked sadly before she rose up and we walked down to her, Louis embracing her by placing his arm around her shoulders.

''We will drive you, come on'', he spoke and I smiled at her before I threw the car keys into the air, catching them a second later.

I could hear her smile and thankfulness behind the low 'thank you' she said.

''You get the front seat, VIP guest'', Louis cheered as he opened the door for the young girl and she smiled at both of us before settling down beside me.

''You're telling me where to'', I smiled at her as we all sat in the car, with seatbelt over our chests and the radio lowly playing.

Daisy instructed me where to drive, and we dropped her of before the bus even arrived.

''Thank you so much'', she smiled as she jumped out, ''you guys just saved my life, miss Gale would give me detention if I was late'', she rolled her eyes, but was still smiling.

''Have lunch with you and everything?'', Louis asked with his head between the seats.

Daisy's smile faded, sighing.

''No, I did not have the time and mom and dad either, they went to work very early today'', she spoke and I looked at Louis, ''but I'll survive, there's no problem guys. Thank you, bye!'', she smiled with her slightly crooked teeth and closed the door before either me and Louis could say anything at all.

She hung the bag over her small shoulders before she walked inside the orange one-storey building. We watched her walk inside, and then Louis jumped down in the front seat beside me.

''She is not going without lunch'', we said in chorus.

And that was it. We went first home to make her a sandwich and then drive back. But when we soon noticed the empty fridge, we both felt guilty and decided to go on grocery shopping for the family. Amber was still asleep, and Lexi.. no one knew where she was. She was disappearing, not even looking at me when we actually managed to cross paths during these last few days. I tried not to pay attention to it, like every other mature man would. But.. I did.

We both took a quick shower, first Louis, then me. We changed our clothed from the dirty of oil and soil ones, since we were helping Bruce at his garage or service station, whatever it was called, all day yesterday. Defining all day, I mean from six thirty in the morning, to late evening. And it was tiring, way too tiring apparently for me and Louis to manage changing clothes before sleep. Disgusting, maybe that's why we ended up outside the bathroom at the same time. An half an hour later, we were back in the car. Ten minutes later, Louis managed to drive us completely lost, and I had no idea how he managed to do that in the small town, but we did when we ended up somewhere completely nowhere. In complete, from dropping of Daisy in school, it passed three hours before we were on our way back to Daisy's school, ready with the grocery shop and a bag with a sandwich and smoothie we bought in probably the only coffeeshop that existed in the small town.
