The next day, Bella intertwined our arms as we walked to the hospital. I begged her for the first fifteen minutes to not go, because I was sure that Bruce and Judie was there to welcome and make sure Louis was okay. I wasn't ready to meet them yet, because however the relations were between the family, I made everything worse and I wasn't ready to face it.

''Calm down, I am here and if we see them we'll just act normal or just walk away''.

''That's even more awkward!'', I disagreed with her.

''You're a coward'', Bella groaned, ''Seriously Harry, we are just picking Louis up'', Bella held my arm tight as she walked with confident steps through the white hall.

''And then what?'', I couldn't help but ask, making Bella frown but her eyes didn't look up to meet mine, like she actually deeply knew what I was talking about, ''What happens after we pick Louis up?'', I asked.

''Do you still have that photograph of the girl?'', Bella eventually asked, making me froze for a second in surprise.

''U-uhm, yeah I do'', my parting dry lips released.

''Then you know'', she confidently said, making me leave in a confused silence.

Somehow, for each step I felt my body slowly relaxing and grow confidence. The white familiar walls repeated themselves for the next minute, before I had to watch the one door I had waited to see Louis walk out from alive. And today, he finally would.

''Okay le- oh''.

Bella stopped in the middle of her sentence as three familiar faces looked at us, closing the door behind them and frozing just like us at the sight of each other. Just to see Judie and Bruce made my stomach inch, and noticing the very young girl looking up at me with her big blue eyes made me almost breathless. The sight of them and the pain in their eyes that I had caused made me wish I could disappear the same second, and never be seen again. So much shit I had brought upon them, and so much I missed them was the other thing my brain thought about. The rest of it, was just completely numb. Just like my body.

''Harry''.

Daisy took a step closer, and the sight of Judies arm flinching in thought of grabbing her daughters arm to bring her away from me made my body feel completely cold. They hated me.

''Hi Harry'', Daisy repeated, and the sight of her smile made me want to fall down on my knees and hug her.

''Hey Daisy'', I smiled back, and I couldn't care less about my weak voice, ''What's up?''.

''Kinda miss you, and Louis'', she then said, and out of the sudden her arms were around my body.

I wanted to scream out my apologize. I wanted to apologize to the loving family I had destroyed, and that I didn't deserve their welcoming and warm love from the beginning.

''We miss you too, sweetheart'', I carefully lowered myself, taking the chance to hug Daisy back, knowing that this was the last goodbye and that maybe I could accept the fact of never being able to hug Lexi ever again and saying goodbye to her sister, was like saying goodbye to her. Forever.

''Daisy''

The sound of Lexi's mother made me look up and release Daisy from my grasp. Judies hand was soon found on Daisy's small shoulder, as her eyes didn't want to meet mine. She then made sure her youngest daughter was between her and her husband, before meeting my gaze for the first time, and probably the ever last one too. My lips parted, in hope for them to realize a such awaiting apology, but as my eyes darted between the two loving parents, the words got completely stuck. Just a word, come on Harry. Just a fucking word.
