After two months, after a road trip that did not end as me and Louis both hoped for, I finally opened the door to the apartment. Louis entered the apartment as I held the door for him, Bella following after him. I had forgotten how the apartment looked like, and I could almost sense the smell of the undone dishes we had forgotten about before we left. Bella held Louis by his waist, as they walked inside his bedroom. I took a breath, before closing the door. A feeling of disappointed immediately hit me. And I thought that next time I would return back to Seattle, would be after I had found the girl on the photograph. How much can change..''Louis immediately fell asleep'', Bella suddenly appeared beside me, as I stood infront of the window and admiring the view of Seattle like the first day I did as I moved in here, ''I'm pretty tired myself actually.. It's like three o'clock in the morning. I'll take the couch'', Bella placed her hand against my back, before she yawned and walked off.
''Take my bed'', I offered, turning to face her with a slight smile, ''I'll take the couch''.
Bella tilted her head as she went silent for a moment. She then deeply sighed, before walking up to me and embraced me with her arms, and I pulled her closer.
''I know this wasn't how you planned. But you can't give up yet, just give it a little time. I think you just need to rest'', Bella whispered against my chest.
''I just want Louis to be okay, I don't really mind if nothing went as planned for me'', I admitted.
It hurt to admit it, but it was true. I would always put Louis need's in front of mine, and whatever was best for him. Maybe it was dumb, or just weird, but that's how it always had been since the day I woke up in the bed next to him in the military hospital after he saved my life.
''Oh Harry'', Bella hugged me tighter, ''You should think what it's best for you too sometimes''.
''I did'', I said, Bellas head tilting up to meet my gaze, ''And you see yourself how that went.. I was happy making Lexi happy, and still it all went wrong''.
''But I want to see you happy'', Bella honestly replied, making my body still of surprise, ''It sucks when you aren't, really''.
I leaned back, my hands placing on her shoulders to have a look on her.
''Bella, I am okay. I'm not the one who ended up in a accident'', I smiled, trying my best to assure her that I was in fact, all okay.
Because I was, right?
''Are you though?'', Bella frowned, inspecting my face for a second with her deep green eyes, ''Because back when we met for the first time, there was this.. I don't know, happy energy around you. Now? Not so much''.
Giving what Bella said a short thought, I realized that thinking more about it would made me even more locked up in myself. So I decided to give the pretty and caring girl in front of me a smile, before letting my hands fall from her shoulders, and along her arms.
''I'm just tired, you're as well so let's sleep'', I spoke.
Bella sighed once again, before suddenly raising on her toes and placing her lips against the corner of my lips, me immediately relaxing under her gentle touch.
''You're so good Harry. Just remember that'', Bella said, giving me a slight smile before walking off, ''Although I am taking your bed'', she then stated, both of us chuckling.
''Good night'', I whispered to her as she stopped in the doorframe of my room, looking back at me in slight concern.
''You sure you'll be okay?'', she asked in a whisper with a slight frown.
