The only thing she can remember was being in her battle plane broken from hearing the words of the men that once fought by her side, betrayed her.
Shadow and Rouge told her to leave Cascade but she couldn't.
"I..." she started, thinking about Leon, her once most trusted friend, and love of her life. And she remember what he said:
"Everyone isn't as strong as you are, Molly! Please understand, I'm tired. You wouldn't've gotten along with it: We're done! We don't want to die with this planet! I'm sorry, but it was either us or you!"

"I'm not..." she then thought of his betrayal in an attempt to kill her, he lied to her about files in the mine, when actually it was a bomb that would set to explode the moment she opened the luggage. She then remembered what Shadow told her:
"I'll be there anytime you need me! Just like in that story, remember? But you need to leave Cascade, now! You have a dream, you need to live to fulfill it!" And she spoke in heartbroken voice:

"I can't go... I'm not that strong either..."
She then turned around to fight the Metarex on her very own in a battle cry. As she charged to the Metarex, Shadow was fighting the spaceships and saw her charging to the cyborgs and when Rouge was about to join, she saw her going straight on to them.

"Molly! Molly what are you doing?!?!" Rouge yelled as the pilot started shooting in the ship. The leader, Pale Bayleaf just chuckled at the sight of her desperation, and just fired the laser at her plane. Shadow dashed at the scene and he and Molly locked eyes. Molly was heartbroken, but she made a small smile to Shadow, who gasped in horror, and then the ship exploded.
"MOLLY!!!!!" Rouge screamed, as the pilot's former comrades watched in horror as the ship bursted into pieces.
The look of horror in his eyes. It was all she could remember before it was nothing but darkness. She believed she was dead, until 15 years later passed like a wind, it all changed.

Darkness. It was all she could see. Then all of a sudden, a pair of blue eyes slowly began to open, as a ginger colored female hedgehog in surgery clothings was temporarily blinded by bright light a bit. After gaining full consciousness, she quickly jolted up in surprise, her quills lightly raised. Panting, she looked around where she was. It seemed like a surgery room, in a rectangular space.
She then noticed herself. She once again jolted behind the bed where she was sleeping and looked at her hands, confused.
Her arms were slightly bigger, she looked smaller in size, and felt completely different from herself.
All of a sudden, there was a noise of an electric door opening that caused her ears to twitch, and the doors revealed a old and familiar looking figure. She quickly recognized him as someone she knew.

"Dr. Eggman?" She spoke. The presumed dr. Eggman then chuckled at the hedgehog's words.

"You know "him" as well, I see? I am Dr. Eggman Nega, Scientist genius, and soon to be ruler of the Sol Empire." That made her confused.
"W-where am I?"
"Your at, as "he" calls it, the Nega Dimension. You must be Molly."

"What? how do you know my name? Wh- I'm supposed to be dead! M-my plane exploded with me in it! A-aren't I a human?"
"Hmmm interesting. You have full awareness of your original incarnation as well."
"What?"

"Allow me to explain along the way. BOCOE! DECOE! COME HERE!"
Two robots came rushing to the room.
"Yes doctor?"
"Bring female clothings, mobian size, now!"
"Yes sir!" The two robots ran off to gather the female clothings. Eggman Nega made a sign for her to follow him.

Concerned, she tried to stand up, and slowly went one step at a time, because she wasn't used to her new body yet.
As they walked out of the door and through the halls, he began explaining:
"When your plane exploded, your physical body was destroyed, but your mental state and knowledge somehow survived. When you're reincarnated in another dimension, the consciousness of your original incarnation causes your body to grow a bit too quickly, and you became the age you were when you died. There was a person before you that had the same thing."

"Who?"
"A blonde hedgehog. She says that she remembers her name was Maria Robotnik, she was "his" cousin."
"Eggman had a cousin?"
"Yes. 50 years ago she died by getting shot in the back, trying to save her friends."
"Wait, 50 years ago? How long was I asleep?"
"I calculated that it was around 15 years ago."
"15?!"
"That biologically makes you 29 years old."
"Darn..."

"But the other shocking thing was the powers Maria got."
"What do you mean?"
"Her power came from what killed her. She was shot by the back, now her body is completely bulletproof, no matter the type of bullet it is, regular or laser, it won't give her a single scratch, and if it did, she'd quickly regenerate like it was nothing."

"So will I have powers of who or what killed me as well."
"Yes, depending on what made your ship explode."
"I remember it to be a laser. By my planet's enemy, known as the Metarex. If I remember correctly, the name of the leader is "Pale Bayleaf"?"
"I'll keep those things in mind for later." Nega answered, typing down his Philanthropist's Journal.

Eventually, they made it to another electric door, which contained a few male mobians, each of them with vines and roots inside out. This  view shocked Molly, what shocked her more was one specific purple red hedgehog, who had roots out on his hand, and she instantly recognized him. Nega then began talking:

"We've also found some males that were born with roots of trees on the inside out. They where lucky enough that my robots found them, or else their organs would've been strangled from the vines and roots." She noticed a yellow-green looking monkey with vines and roots for a tail under a machine that is carefully removing the roots from his back to an extent, then cutting it with a scissor-like claw.

"Wait- that's Arthur."
"Who? The monkey?"
"One of my crew mates from the resistance. That grey bear is Ben, the badger over there is Jim, and-and Leon. T-There all here! What happened?!"

"I've made research, and I believe that they must've died by getting strangled to trees or something. But I think it's worse than that."
"H-how worse?"
"They must've gotten strangled by the trees roots and vines inside out, and to think that it must've been a very slow and painful death.."

The very thought of all that made Molly feel pity for them, but then she remembered what Leon said:
"We're done! We don't want to die with this planet! I'm sorry, but it was either us or you!"

This made her feel heartbroken. She felt that same pain in her chest when he said those words 15 years ago. In a few seconds, she fell on her knees, sobbing and unable to control her tears. But Nega noticed something odd: her tears were glowing red, and they sizzled when they touched the ground. Before long, her body began getting a red aura, and Nega checked on his device and saw it was in an overheated temperature that was slowly sizzling a few parts of the surgery gown into ashes. In shock, he quickly turned on the fire emergency button, causing an alarm to blare, and the sprinkler system triggered, but it didn't wear off the laser effect properly.

The two robots went barging in with the clothes, but they were all wet from the sprinkler.
"Doctor, we brought the clothings you asked." Bocoe said nervously.
"Fresh from the washer." Decoe replied, chuckling nervously.

Dr. Nega checked if the hedgehog was alright, her surgery clothes were practically burned with her shoulders exposed, but she wasn't hurt or injured in any way, to his surprise. He then began to think what was her powers: Leizerkinesis, the power to manipulate laser, meaning she has more tricks up her sleeve and she doesn't know it yet. And she'd need a lot of time to learn how control it.

A/N: alright, I think I'm gonna end off here for now. I've been wanting to do this fanfic for a long time, and I can't wait any longer. I think Molly and the Cascadians had potential, so I'm adding it here. Hope you like it. This is EnderCatAGZ, AKA Mystery the Cat, signing' up. Bye-bye 😋😋😋
