Malfunctions

Storyline: Something malfunctions on one of the dropships

Janet was assigned to the simple recon mission. She just needed to get in and out without being caught.

She took the dropship and landed on planet Polus. She was heading into Sugar Pine 7s base, one of the most dangerous places ever

She climbed through the vents until she found what she was looking for. Grabbing her flash drive she dropped down into the computer room

She downloaded the plans that SP7 made, wiped the computers data and went to make an escape. Only for arms to grab her waist.

"Well if it isn't xchocobars," a voice growled. Janet slammed her foot down and turned to face James.

He towered over her with his 5'11 height and she glared at him. Janet slipped her flash drive into her pocket, hoping to keep it safe

"James," she growled back. Then she turned and ran. Sirens went off. She had to get back to her dropship.

She barely made it out of base but they were hot on her heels. Janet could barely keep running.

The purple dust on the planet mixed with the cold snow made it hard for her to focus. Her dropship came into view and she picked up the pace

She closed the dropship door behind her and ran to the computer. She placed the Skeld coords in and started the engine

But the dropship sputtered and didn't move. She could hear Cib yelling orders. She tried again

It made a clicking noise and shook but still didn't move

Fear seized her heart as her dropship remained on the ground.

"Come on come on," she begged, her voice showing how afraid she was. She tried again. No reaction. Something had malfunctioned.

But the dropship was checked before she left and this didn't sound like a sabotage. Something bad definitely broken.

Cib was still shouting and the dropship shook. Then she realized that they were trying to break down the doors.

So Janet did what she had to do. She grabbed her flash drive and inserted it into the computer. She uploaded it to Mira and then smashed the computer.

She had no way home unless she could get another computer. Then she also destroyed the flash drive.

The door burst open and she grabbed her gun. She aimed it at Alfredo and Cib just walked forward.

"You don't have the guts xchocobars," he hissed. Janet was shaking, she was a medic. It was pretty much against her entire moral code to kill

"Do it," Alfredo challenged. He spread his arms open and Cib signaled for everyone to put their guns down.

Janet glanced at everyone in the ship and knew she had one option. Tears started to roll down her face as she made her choice

"I won't kill you. I don't have to kill you," she said. Then she pointed the gun at her head. She was still shaking as she squeezed the trigger

Then all she knew was blackness

I'm not having a very good day. My car broke down(nobody's hurt) and we don't know why. So I give you Janet dying.
