Samara's POV

Things had progressed smoothly within the last few days since our night out at The Chapel. My two Knights hadn't fought as much, at least not that I knew of over the past week, and the three of us had spent most of our time together when I wasn't working at the gym. I drove to work without them, as they'd started their normal routine of arriving at their training room early in the morning. I hadn't gone back to the apartment yet to get the rest of my stuff, but Trudgen and Vicrul did go back to get my car, as the Knights figured Myers was gone for good now, and the car wasn't needed for show anymore just sitting in the parking lot.

Unfortunately, things did start happening to my car that shouldn't have been. Over the course of just a few days while working at the gym, the first thing that went wrong was with my battery. Initially, I thought that my battery had died when I tried to start my car, but when I called Trudgen to come give me a jump, he opened the hood and noticed that the battery had actually been unplugged. The next day, I found my car doors unlocked when I was sure that I had locked them before I had gone inside for work. I didn't tell the guys about that specific incident, thinking maybe I really had just forgotten. But it was strange nonetheless.

I hadn't needed help with bills at the moment, but I knew Kylo would help me out if I asked. And I desperately hoped that I wouldn't need to ask for anything more. Rent came due towards the end of the month, and I told Kylo about it. I wasn't short on money yet, so I didn't need that, but I brought it up to him, because I knew that he and Trudgen only wanted me to stop by my apartment one more time; I figured maybe I could get my stuff at that time too. But when I told him about needing to pay my rent, he said, "I already took care of that."

"What?"

"I paid your rent up to the end of your lease. Cardo helped too; he insisted of course, for Lynn." I was shocked. Dumb-founded. Literally had no words to speak. I just stared at him before he crossed his arms and laughed, leaning in to kiss me. "I'm here to take care of you, Schatz. I thought I made that clear already. I don't want you going back there for any reason until you go to get the rest of your stuff. And we can do that whenever you want." Although, I was putting off getting my belongings from the apartment until the three of us could have a proper conversation about all of us living together. I wasn't going to choose between them.

Even after the couple days it had been since I'd asked him about that, it was still unbelievable to me. I didn't even think apartments accepted money up to the end of a lease. I supposed even if not, Kylo and Cardo were probably very persuasive.

Tonight was the night that Trudgen was taking me out on a solo date. I wasn't sure if going out with one of them separately would be a normal routine for us, as I really enjoyed going out with the two of them together, but since Kylo got so much alone time with me over the couple weeks that Trudgen was working, it was only fair of course. He told me to dress in something nice but comfortable. I didn't have much with me from my apartment, but I did have a slim-fit dress that was comfortable. It was dark red with short off-shoulder long sleeves and came to a length above my knees.

Trudgen was dressed in a black suit that had a bit of a sheen to it; it looked like it was made of the same material as the one he wore to the gala, except this suit had gray pinstripes. He wore a lime green button up underneath, and the soles of his black shoes were the same color. He wasn't wearing a tie tonight, and he had a few of the buttons undone at the top of his shirt, showing off his colorful tattoos on his neck and chest. His artwork looked delicious; I loved whenever he showed it off, and I'm sure he knew that.

Trudgen pulled up to a fancy restaurant called Savoy that I hadn't been to before. He couldn't keep his hands to himself during the entire car ride. His fingers would toy with my fishnets or hold my left hand in his and bring it up to his lips for a sweet kiss when we were at stoplights. When he pulled up to the valet, he made it a point to wrap an arm around my hips and leave me with a breathless kiss in front of the young man who he handed the keys to, as well as a tip.
