Pico had his backpack over his shoulder, he didn't like keeping it on his back. Looked dumb and he didn't want people yanking him by it. He was never fond of schools..

But he decided to get over his childhood fears and keep his education. He wouldn't use past experience as an excuse.

So here he was at college. And luckily, his boyfriend went to the same one. Keith! Yes, after all this time they're still together. It actually made Pico a bit more interested in school.

Well, not really. But getting to see Keith more made it better so fuck it let's go to class!

Hold up, where was he?

Usually they'd meet at his locker, but he wasn't even here. Pico squinted. He better not have pulled what he thought he did. Pico took out his phone, walking to his locker to grab his things.

He started to call up Keith, who was currently laying in bed watching something on his phone. But saw his boyfriend was calling him. He answered the phone as well.

"Hey Pico, what's up?" Keith sat up, happy to hear from him. "What do you mean 'what's up', where the fuck are you?" Pico asked, a bit annoyed.

Oh shit right.. school. Keith swore it was Saturday already, he just slept in. "Oh uh.. I'm sick..?" He lied. Which Pico knew. "Bullshit, you said you wouldn't skip anymore." Pico folded an arm under the other.

"I didn't mean to skip! I'm just not feeling too good. I'll be there tomorrow, kay?" Keith said, trying to ease the conversation. He knew how Pico was about him skipping class. "Whatever." He said.

"Can you come by and keep me company..?" Keith asked, not really wanting to spend all day alone. Pico just gave a dead stare. "No, I have work to do." Then suddenly, the bell rang. "Speaking of which, gotta go."

Keith heard the phone hang up, looking a bit disappointed. He dropped his phone on the bed as he rolled onto his back. Looking up at the ceiling.

He remembered back then in highschool when they would always skip class to go do things like get ice cream, paint on the walls, or just hide from teachers around the building.

But now all Pico talks about is education! School! Blah blah.. Even though Keith knew he was 100% right. Agh.. whatever. Besides it was just one day, he'll make up for missed work tomorrow.
