The inside of the Shibuya Station was just as much of a mess as the streets outside were.

Personal belongings were littered across the tile floors, left behind during the initial wave of panic. The bodies of dead transfigured humans were accompanied by pools of blood. Whether it was theirs or an injured civilian's was a mystery to the trio of sorcerers.

Since Ino's group succeeded in taking down the veil, all sorcerers were able to freely move in Shibuya. Haruki, Amaya, and Nakajima traveled deeper into the station in search of any higher-grade sorcerers but were finding it difficult to do so. With so many possible traces and trails, they had to carefully choose which way to go.

"These bodies are cut clean," Nakajima examined the transfigured corpses they were following. "Looking at where they're cut, it seems like Nanami-san might've been here."

Haruki looked at the bloody patterns on the floor and then pointed in a certain direction, "I thought he wouldn't go too deep into the curtain because he wouldn't be able to keep in contact with Ijichi, but I may be wrong. If it was him, he must've been heading this way."

"That's towards the Keio Inokashira Line," Amaya commented. "And I'm pretty sure you guys might've sensed it, but I think I feel something faint towards that direction."

Amaya was, in fact, not the only one who sensed cursed energy off in the distance. The closer they got to the source, the stronger the energy became. When they arrived at the avenue gate, they were met with Nanami, Maki, and Naobito Zenin confronting a special grade cursed spirit.

"Nanami-san!" Amaya called, capturing the blond man's attention.

He briefly turned to look at the group of girls to acknowledge their presence. "Be careful," he warned them, turning his attention back to the cursed spirit.

The curse levitated in the air, its blank white eyes staring down at them all. The octopus-like being held up a finger as a swirling sphere of water formed above its head. Without wasting a second, it threw the sphere down at the floor, and a tsunami of water flowed in every direction.

While Naobito covered himself using his cursed technique, Amaya used Sea Dragon's Nest to cast a barrier around everyone else. The large wave of water rushed around the barrier while everyone inside stayed dry.

"Not even Megumi can summon this much water using Max Elephant," the brunette commented.

Maki held her blade tighter, "If we were underground, it would've been game over."

"Yeah, let's be grateful we weren't," Amaya dropped the barrier.

As Naobito spoke to the cursed spirit, the group learned that its name was Dagon. The old man's indifference to its words about how all curses bear names had it enraged. Using its rage to their advantage, Nanami appeared behind Dagon and swung his blunt blade at it. The curse used its arm to block it but was sent flying down to the floor.
