Side Effects

Chapter 3:

I picked up the white pill bottle. Looking at it. Squinting my eyes just to read the small writing on it. I bit my lip. I wonder what would happen if i took more... than i was suppose to take.

I twisted the lid off dumping four into my palm. I gulped and dry swallowed them. Feeling the pills slowly go down my throat. I unlocked my phone and saw it was 11:59 p.m. I figured its time to go to bed so i but my phone on my bedside table and got under my covers curling up into a tiny ball.

~~~~ Next day ~~~~

I was woken up by loud screaming. i groaned and knew exactly who it was. Steve and Rita. Ritas usually never around. She sleeps all the time or is out at the bar. I rolled out of bed and didnt even care what my hair looked like as i walked out of my room.

The screaming grew louder and as it did i winced.

"YOU'RE NOTHING TO ME" I heard Steve scream. I just shook my head at them. i hated when they fought.

I went into my kitchen and grabbed a banana. Peeling it and taking a bite. I walked towards Steves room.

"Steve?" I asked quietly.

"What?" His head shot towards me.

"C-can i please go out to starbucks?" I bit my lip.

"Sure whatever but when you get back i want this WHOLE house clean. Got it?? Otherwise you're never coming out of your room ever again." He stated.

"Thank you" I smiled small and walked away.

I went down the steps to my room and i opened my door walking to my closet. I picked out a red leather jacket with a grey tanktop and a pair of jeans with grey boots. I heard my phone vibrate and it was Tia.

From: Tiaa

Heeeey. Im picking you up at 11:30 sharpp.

To: Tiaa

Okaay :)

I looked at the time and it was 11:00. Wow. I took my hair out of my messy pony tail brushing it to get the knots out. I let my naturally wavy hair hang over my shoulders and i walked up stairs to the bathroom fixing my makeup.

Before i knew it my phone vibrated with a text from Tia.

From: Tiaa

Heeree.

I walked to steves room letting him know im leaving cause i know if i didnt he'd kill me. He just waved me off and i walked out.

I hate not being cared for anymore. They wouldnt care if i died. They dont even want me. I dont get why they're even foster parents. Just to abuse the kids they get?

I got into Tias car and we drove off to Starbucks.

"You excited to meet Alex? Hes a real cutie. But he has a girlfriend. Sarah. They're so adorable though!" She gushed smiling.

"Yeah im excited!" I laughed.

We got to Starbucks and got out walking inside seeing Alex sitting there alone. He looked up seeing us.

"Avaaa!!!" He got up and ran towards me giving me a bone crushing hug. I laughed and he let go. "I havent seen you since you were in the hospital" He frowned.

"You visited?" I asked confused.

"Duh!! But we all only visited the first couple months you were there. Then the doctors wouldnt let us." He frowned again and i just nodded. "Well im Alex Ruban Constancio!" He held his hand out and laughed along with Tia. I shook his hand smiling and we ordered our drinks finally sitting down.

"So how have you been Alex?" Tia asked sipping her drink.

My vision slowly started going away.

no no no...

I started to panic. Everything went dark and i didnt know what was happening.

"Ava!! Ava are you okay!?" I heard a girl ask as a pair of arms shook me.

My eyes fluttered open and i saw a starbucks worker, Tia, Alex and another random person standing over me.

"Its okay Tia she just passed out!" I heard Alex reassure Tia.

"What happened?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"You passed out. Are you okay?" Alex asked and i nodded in response. They helped me up and i fixed myself a little. That was weird...

They dropped me off at home and Alex told me to text him anytime i needed someone. I nodded and got out. Walking inside the house. I immediantly started cleaning.

~~~~1 hour later~~~~

I finally finished with the whole house. Steve and Rita arent home. Probably out getting drunk. I went into my room and decided to do some research on that Austin kid.

I got my laptop out and looked him up on google.

"Austin Mahone is a 16 year old YouTube sensation! He started with his friend Alex Constancio and worked his way up finally starting his own channel at age 14. From there he sky rocketed and thousands of girls noticed him."

I nodded slowly reading the small paragraph. I decided i was going to look him up on YouTube. I looked up "Austin Mahone" and a cover of "Never say never" showed up first so i clicked on it.

I watched it all and i have to admit hes a really good singer.

I went to twitter and also looked him up. He was following me... I decided to message him. I took a deep breath pressing the dm box.

i just messaged him "Hey... Do you remember me..." i clicked send thinking hes probably never going to reply. I closed my laptop. I just wanna know about him. Somethings missing. I shook my head and drifted off to sleep..

Wellllllll yeah :) This chapter was terrible. BUT its only the beginning. soo dont give up on this story yet and i wont either
