I climbed down slowly from the window. Everyone must be asleep by now. The only window i have to pass

is the dining room window. So lets just hope no ones in there.

I climbed to the window sill placing my foot down slowly before jumping onto the fresh green grass. When landed safely on my feet i got up and ran quickly to the park i grew up at. Making sure no one saw i me i snuck behind cars and bushes.

I finally arrived at the park which only took about 5 minutes. My chest rose up and down as i tried catching my breath. I navigated the park in search of Austin. My eyes finally landed on the swings and i walked over slowly.

"Hey" I took a seat on a swing next to him.

"Hey.. Glad you came" He smiles small swinging back and forth slowly.

"Hows your leg?" I asked pointing to his casted leg which is wrapped in a boot so he can walk.

"Ehh pretty good. I start again tomorrow. It was good to have a break" He nods and i swung a little.

"Soo.. why'd you call me out here?" I looked up at the stars admiring each one.

"Well i have something to tell you.." He started. "Ava, ever since i met you ive had the slightest crush. Its crazy right? I sucked it up though and helped you all through your boy problems... But deep down in my heart it hurt. I didnt show it though. I plastered the biggest smile on my face. And no it wasnt fake.. it was because i was with you. I was always with you. I am so sorry i wasnt there for you when you were in coma. I got so caught up and management wouldnt let me go." He shook his head and looked down as i starred at him in shock. "I am so sorry.. its just terrible that i wasnt there. But thats not all i wanted to tell you.." He grabbed my hands and i gulped. "Ava.. I-"

Suddenly my phone beeped twice indicating i had a text. I unlocked my phone and checked who its from.

From: Tiaa<3:

Hey baabbee. I am so sorry. Ive been working and been catching up on school. Meet up with me tomorrow morning!!

To: Tiaa<3:

Oh its fine!!! Sounds good. Talk to you tomorrow :*

i looked up from my phone. "What did you wanna say?"

"Nothing. Nevermind... We should get going.." Austin stood up as i nod joining him.

"Alright" For some reason Austins acting weird... I just shook the thought off. Hes leaving again tomorrow. Ill barely see him besides when he visits Alex but thats it.

Austin decided he'd walk me home. It was silent... But not an awkward silence, a peaceful silence. You could hear the crickets chirping and trees rustling slightly from the wind.

We made it back to my house safely and he walked me to the door.

"Thanks... for uh taking me home" i smiled and looked down. Austin just shrugged and mumbled "Dont worry about it"

He walked away and i snuck in slowly making sure to close the door as quietly as possible.

I turned and there stood Sue.

"Where have you been missy?" She asked with her arms crossed.

"I-i... uh went to the park with Austin.." I bit my lip. Atleast i told the truth?

"Ugh you teenagers." She rolled her eyes and smirked dropping her hands.

Thank God she wasnt that mad.

"Just get to bed!" She turns and went into her room.

I trotted up the stairs and to my room changing out of my clothes into shorts and a t-shirt. I brushed my hair and teeth and was finally ready for bed.

I relaxed into my sheets and my eyes drooping slowly.

_________ The next morning ________

I heard people talking all the way from down stairs. It had to be like what? 5 in the morning. I groaned, rubbing my eyes slipping the blankets off and fixing my hair and shirt before opening my door and galloping down the stairs.

I saw Austin about to leave with Alex, Sue and Michelle standing behind him.

"Oh Austin you almost forgot to say bye to Ava!" Sue chirped and looked at me.

Austin just nodded slowly. "Yeah.. Almost forgot" he mumbled and walked to me holding his fist out. Is he serious. He has to be kidding. I just smirked and knuckle punched him but he just dropped him arm and waved.

"Bye Ava" He turned and walked towards the door. "Ill call you everyday mom! Alex, ill facetime every chance i get!" He winked and they just laughed. "Take care Sue!" He turned and walked out. Not saying ANYTHING to me but "Bye Ava"

What. The. Fuck.

"Well.. Someone must be in a mood today.." Michelle looked at me with sympathy.
