Chapter 21

I am so sorry everyone. My phone broke while i was on vacation and i just got a new one so hiii!!

Austin sat on the bed as i eyed him. Im so nervous.. what's he going to say..

"Ava i tried telling you this the day before i left.. but i kinda got interrupted.." i nodded my head slowly hinting him to go on..

"Ava i like you.." The minute i heard that i choked and i froze. Austin likes... me?

*Flashback*

Austin and i were playing around in my backyard. Austin suddenly sat down and pulled me to sit criss cross with him. We were 10 and 11. Austin smiled..

"I think one day were gonna be more than friends" He said and at the time i didn't really know exactly what he meant.. but it makes sense now..

______ End of flashback ______

"Ava.." i felt a light push on.my shoulder. "Avaaa.." My eyes shot open to see the ceiling and Austin's perfect face.. wait what.

What came next surprised not only Austin but me..

I sat up on my elbows and kissed Austin.. I... kissed... him.

But Austin kissed back and it felt so right.

We both pulled away looking into eachothers eyes.

"I've been waiting to do that.." Austin barely whispered.

Suddenly my phone started buzzing and i sat up quickly grabbing it.

"Hello?"

"Yes is this Ava?"

"Um.. yes. it is"

"We are calling about your father Steve.. He got bailed out of jail.. He said he wants to go to court to try and get custody.."

The moment i heard that i dropped my phone, tears immediately falling quickly down my cheeks. Austin already knew whatever this was is bad so he just hugged me and knew i didn't want to talk about it.

This change happening.. i just finally got somewhat of a normal life back..

My dad ruined my life basically.. i don't want to go back into hiding my bruises ans scratches..

He killed my mom. I know i don't have proof.. but who else would do that??

I couldn't stop sobbing. Sue came into the room quickly along with Alex. Austin just kept rocking me back and fortune his arms trying to calm me.

Sue bent down and hugged me mumbling in my ear quietly.

"Ill do whatever i can to not let him take you back.. i promise...."
