Side Effects

Chapter 12:

I answered the call closing my eyes.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Steves voice screamed through the phone. I didnt answer. I sat there frozen. "Fine. Dont answer me. But when i find you, you'll be wishing you did." Was all he said before the phone started beeping. I quickly ended the call. I sat there with wide eyes. Ive upsetted Steve in the past. But never this bad... Im so dead.

I finally flashed back to reality. I got up and went into the kitchen noticing the pizza was just about done. After me and Austin kissed things got extremely awkward for us. Me and Austin would make the most awkward eye contact then look away quickly. We all sat around Alex's table eating pizza.

"So you going back to perform" Alex asked then took a bite of the pizza.

"Noo.. My management says i need a break." Austin shrugged and i took a small bite of my pizza barely ever saying a word.

We all got done and decided to stay the night at Alex's. Tomorrow would be Thursday so Alex and Tia would have to leave and go to school. But id stay at Alex's for the day. His family was also like another family to me. I loved them.

Me and Alex were on the two computers in his computer room. I thought this would be a good time to tell him the news on Steve.

"Alex..?" I asked quietly and he looked over.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Steve called.." I began. "He said hes going to find me.. Hes gonna kill me Alex" I put my head in my hands and Alex rolled his office chair over to me rubbing my back.

"Ava you know you can stay here as long as you want" Alex tried to reassure me and i nodded looking up at him.

"Thanks Alex" I smiled and he shrugged.

"No problem. i still think you should tell the police." He rolled over.

"No.. i cant do that." I should my head.

Austin and Tia came in and i immediantly shut up and scrolled down my timeline.

"Where are we all sleeping?" Tia asked sitting on one of the couches.

"My room duhh?" Alex laughed and got up.

"Girls get bed!!" I shouted as i logged off twitter and we all went into Alex's room. Alex and Austin whined and Tia smiled.

"We get bed guys!" Tia said again and we jumped onto the bed.

"Fine..." Austin and Alex said in unison as they crossed their arms. Me and Tia giggled and Alex turned his tv on. It was about 12:30 when we all got sleepy. Yes.. were losers.

~MORNING~

Tia and Alex were up at about 5:30 getting read while i was asleep peacefully on the bed and Austin was sprawled out on the floor.

"Should we leave them here?" Tia asked Alex while applying eye shadow.

"Yeah its no big deal." Alex shrugged.

When i got up it was 9:35. i yawned and noticed Austin was still asleep. I went over to the bathroom and decided id take a shower. I got my clothes from my bag and my makeup bag and went into the bathroom.

I took a warm relaxing shower and i just thought about life. I washed my hair and body and i was out in 30 minutes. I dried off with a towel from under the sink and put a purple jacket on from Victorias Secret along with a white tank top under and some jeans. I removed my makeup with a wipey and redid it with some mascara to make my eyes pop a bit. I brushed my teeth and hair and let my hair dry natural. I stuffed my old clothes into my bag and walked out.
