Chapter 14

Side Effects.

Chapter 14:

Anger rushed inside me. I got out of Tia's bed putting my shoes on and marching out her door. I remembered its the middle of the night and everyone is sleeping so i tip-toed out of her house running down the street to Alex's.

I may be going a little crazy.. okay completely crazy.. but i couldnt stop myself i just kept running until i reached his house. I decided to text Alex to open the door.

To: Alex ;D :

Go to your door.

About 5 minutes later the door opened revealing Austin and Alex. They stepped outside closing the door slowly.

"Ava what the hell are you doing here?!" Alex whisper yelled.

I look straight to Austin.

"I need to talk to you." I said through gritted teeth. "How dare you. You kiss me.. not once.. but TWICE and it means nothing?! What do you think im easy?! is that it??" I flipped out and Alex put his hands on my shoulders.

"Ava calm down.." He said and i pulled away.

"No." I looked back at Austin. "You know how much ive been through.. and yet you do this to me.."

"You've changed Ava." Austin said with no emotion at all.

I shook my head and felt tears brimming my eyes. I didnt want to cry in front of them so i turned and ran. I heard Alex yell my name but i didnt care.

I had to admit i did change. I started changing... after i took all those pills.

Are these the Side Effects?

Suddently i ran into a stiff, rock hard body. I went to apoligize but i couldnt speak. I stared up. Shocked. Scared... no more like terrified.

"Well well well" The man spoke.

Or should i say the horrible man i called my foster parent... Steve.

I tried to turn to run but he yanked me back whispering in a dark creepy voice.

"Ive been searching for you" He spoke slowly as he dragged me away making sure to put his hand over my mouth to block out my screams making them sound muffled.

He took me to a car and shoved me in the trunk. Before doing that he tied my hands and feet together with a rope.

Im gonna die. Im gonna die.

I kept repeating it in my head.

I started panicking as i tried getting my phone out of my pocket. I managed to press a random number and it went on speed dial to Alex.

I heard him answer.

I felt the car jerk which meant were moving.

"Alex help!! Please!!" I cried trying to keep my voice down.

I heard him talking but i could barely hear a word hes saying.

"Alex im in Steves car! Please help me!! Im down the road last time i saw. im in the trunk!!" I started crying and i didnt even notice. I saw the call ended and i started panicking.

I felt us jerk to a stop and i heard Steve get out. I squeezed my eyes shut. I started hitting the car trunk as hard as i could. I heard another unfamiliar voice and i begun to get more scared. I turned and noticed i can push the seat down to crawl out of the trunk. I pushed as hard as i could for the 5th time and finally it fell and started crawling out noticing were were at a gas station.
