Y/n took a deep breath, seeing all of the flashing lights going off. At this point, it was almost familiar.

It's been a year since she came back from her mission to destroy the international mafia and got voted as the number two pro hero in japan.

Now she stood at the number one spot, Touya Todoroki and her older brother standing four spots away at number five. Keigo became number seven, Izuku Midoriya became number two, Bakugo Katsuki became number three, Shoto Todoroki number four, and Mirio Togata at number six.

Her leather jacket shifted on her arms as the crowds started screaming her name, spots being left on her vision from how many pictures were being taken.

The commissions office decided to start doing interviews again after last year when y/n had come back and Endeavor was arrested right before the billboard event because everyone wanted to know what was happening and the office didn't want to be blamed for it.

A slight feeling of pride filled her chest as she looked at Izuku's nervous, pale face next to Bakugo, who looked calmer than usual, and Shoto, who had his usual blank face as he stared at the crowds.

This year, the interviews are in reverse, so the number one pro hero goes first.

The announcer nervously approached y/n, whose dark red eyes gleamed in the mid-day sun, the light scar over the right one catching the light.

"Good afternoon, Miss. Crescent..." the man trailed off, his cheeks dusted with red. Y/n raised a brown eyebrow at him and he cleared his throat. "It's good to see that you're still at the top of the hero society! Do you have any words for your fans?!"

A ghost of a smile appeared on y/n's face. She'd removed the metal mask from her face last year, so her pale skin was completely visible.

"Good afternoon," y/n said into the microphone, her quiet voice echoing through the room. Everyone's screams were tripled and her ears stung in response, but she didn't react visibly. "It's good to be here. I have two things to say."

"And they are?"

"One, thank you for supporting me ever since I was seventeen and just got my license," y/n glanced at the crowds with narrowed, scarlet eyes. The dark circles under them were heavier than ever, and her lips were turned down in a near permanent scowl. Nobody seemed to care though. "It does mean a lot that people appreciate the work that I do as a pro hero."

"And second?"

"My name is going to be Tsukiakara from now on," y/n glanced over at the cameras that were livestreaming the event. "Crescent was a name that I hadn't chosen for myself, so now that I've been voted as number one, I'd like to choose my own name."

His eyes went wide and he nodded quickly.

"Of course, Miss. Tsukiakara! We'll all be sure to keep that in mind!"

Y/n smiled a bit and the blush on his face grew darker and he turned to Izuku, who started stuttering and blushing as the interviewer asked the questions.

Y/n let her breath out and glanced down at her red painted nails. Her leather gloves were fingerless so they could expand into her talons, and peeked out of the edge of her leather jacket's sleeve.

At least her costume wasn't feminine anymore. Nobody thought of her as a sex object anymore. Y/n had picked the cape back up and put it back on, red linings on the bottom now, and her leather jacket zipped asymmetrically.

Her leather combat boots only went halfway up her calf, and she had on black jeans instead of leather pants. Leather pants don't move well enough for how fast she needed to move. Her utility belt had the crescent logo removed and was left with three stars instead, several weapons hanging off of it.
