the battle for earth

Patrick was focusing on battle plans for the engagement against the Nerther when the ground start to shake again, Hilda and Azura barged into the war room, "Pat you need to see this," Azura said half out of breath, Patrick followed the scholar and soldier, to the roof.

"By nortch," Patrick whispered, seeing the rising portal frame, Patrick watch until the portal frame had finished.

"what is it?" Hilda asked.

"best guess, that is a portal frame, unlike any we've seen before, where the end portal and Nerther portal are magic that one is based entirely on science," Azura said, Patrick turned to her.

"Az, where do you think it leads?" he asked, she looked at him dead in th face.

"The reason Charlie and the other went there, I think it leads to earth," Azura said. "everyone on the overworld would have seen that, Who else do you think would be interested in a portal to earth," Azura added. Patrick stared at the Portal.

"Get everyone ready, we're not going to let them get to it," he said. Patrick left and got his armour, he wasn't going to let the Nerther destroy another world. Azura got her wings and left a note with Patrick to say she was going ahead to scout.

Charlie was once again in the dream or vision or whatever it is, "no, no, no I don't have time for this," Charlie called.

"Well it's nice to see you too," Abigail said, Charlie rubbed his eyes.

"This is the last thing I need," Charlie said.

"what got you so stressed?" Abigail asked.

"will you be quiet, Abigail, I'm focusing," Charlie said, she looked pleased. 

"so you've figured out my name, you might make sherlock holmes proud yet," Abigail said.

"I don't understand you. what are you? you hold the image of someone who was killed, you have her attitude her voice, yet you know of thing from my world, how is that?" Charlie asked.

"I am Abigail, I was saved by someone, I can't tell you who, he doesn't want you to know not yet," she said. 

"I'm done with this, I'm done with you," Charlie declared, Abigail seemed hurt by this. 

"and what have I done?" She asked.

"well to start off with you declared war on the overworld, leading legions to wipe out innocence, you broke Rains heart twice, and then you're doing this, tormenting me, while I dream," Charlie said.

"I was a different person then, I never want to hurt him, I loved him," She said looking down. 

"I note you used past tense," Charlie pointed out.

"Sometimes it best to move on," there was clear regret in her voice.

"Why didn't you tell him you're alive? how are you alive?" Charlie asked, Abigail, shook her head.

"I can't tell you that, he would know, he would kill me," Abigail said.

"Who would?" 

she shook her head again, "He saved me, I can't betray him," Abigail said.

"Look the most I can say is if you want my help you have to tell me," Charlie said. 

"And why would I want your help, I barely know you?" she said, Charlie arched his eyebrow.

"well it does seem like we'll have a lot of time to talk if you ever need it, but right now I need to wake up, it's important," Abigail smiled.

"I can help with that," and with that. she flicked Charlie's arm.
