Charlie was sitting alone in the war room, the others had all gone to help with things around the city, Frostbourne has more than enough doctors helping out, and most of what he knows won't help as the medical science isn't nearly advanced enough, El had rushed into the room, 'why?' Charlie thought, that explosion would have killed her instantly, Charlie looked at war map, Even cut off form the armies in the Nerther, the horde has very much held what there had taken still, "yet again 29 days until the portals opened again a lot can change," Charlie said to himself, and then there is this new enemy the red legion, who are they, he would found out one day, and that wouldn't be a good day for him or the others here, but that is a story for another time, he felt the drag of exhaustion, it had been other busy day, he didn't know how long the others might be so he pulled out his headphones and start to listen to one of his books. sherlock holmes hound of the Baskervilles, it was the best of the sherlock holmes stories. 

Half an hour passed before the first group of people turned up, Rain, Stella, Morgan and William, charlie jumped up seeing William, "You're alive!" Charlie said joyously, charlie said.

"yeah, although there are a few things different," William said, Charlie looked at him o, his skin was as pale as snow, his once electric blue eyes now an icy blue.

"I can see that," Charlie said.

"that's not all, I can create Ice and Snow," William said with a mix of shock and bewilderment.

"yes, I am working on that little issue," Charlie said.

"anyway what caused all of these earthquakes?" Morgan asked, Rain went to speak but Charlie stopped him.

"I'll explain when the others are here, no point in repeating myself," Charlie said, he turn to Rain.

"What happened to you down there?" Charlie asked, Rain shook his head.

"after that man got into my head everything felt like it wasn't happening to me like I was watching someone else doing it," Rain said.

"he tried to do the same thing to me, but for some reason, it didn't work," Stella added. 

"did this man have a name?" Charlie asked.

"he said it was Professor James Moriarty," Rain said, Charlie, Morgan and William all looked jaw dropped at each other.

"I take it you recognised the name?" Stella said.

"Professor James Moriarty is the arch-nemesis to Sherlock Holmes, but he's fictional Character, meet his end at the Reichenbach Falls," Charlie explained.

"Could it be a coincidence?" Morgan asked, Charlie shook his head.

"the univse is rarely so lazy, no, whoever this Moriarty is, he knows about the Holmes canon," Charlie said.

"What did he look like?" William asked, Rain and Stella took a moment before there described the man, Charlie didn't find it very useful.

"so in short an old guy with a goatee," William said.

"Yeah, I'm not the best at describing things, sorry," Stella said. it was then that the door swung open again and the other arrived, it took a moment and everyone was starting to clam.

"So Charlie, Rain would one of you care to explain what happened?" Patrick asked, Charlie looked at Rain and then the rest of the so-called endstone  Crusaders, he sighed.

"I haven't quite been honest with most of you in this room," Charlie said.

"what do you mean by that?" Patrick asked, Charlie looked over to Rain, Rain nodded, he knew what charlie was thinking, "now before I continue I need Ceris to promise not to stab me," Charlie said.
