the TARDIS was now on route to Nerther, The Doctor was busy at the console, Ceris had isolated her self, arms crossed learning on the wall with one leg on the wall, she hadn't even glanced at Charlie once, Rain and Stella sat quietly next to each other, Ciara and Kane were sharpening their weapons, making sure they were ready.

Charlie was sat on an armchair that the doctor kept in the console, He wonders if they hated him, for closing the Portal, for leaving Morgan and William stranded on Earth, Ceris most certainly did, She loved Morgan and Morgan loved her, William was good friends with Rain and Stella, Even Ciara and Kane, were they angry at him or is it all just in his head, he looked down at his feet, he didn't want to look at anyone.

"hay, Doctor do you still have any whine here?" Ciara asked.

"three lefts, go on until you reach the first right," The Doctor said.

"Can you show me?" She asked.

"no I need to stay in the console room, travelling through the vortex here can be tricky," the Doctor said, Ciara turned to Charlie.

"Can you help? you might be able to find your way around this place easier," Charlie didn't react in the slightest, "Charlie?" She asked, He still wasn't reacting, just staring at the floor mumbling something to himself, "Umm, Guys I think something wrong with Charlie," She said, everyone looked over to him.

"What happening to him?" Kane asked.

"it's one of his breakdowns, Morgan or William normal deal with it but neither of them is here," Rain explained.

"Can you do anything?" Stella asked, the Doctor shook his head.

"he knows me but I don't know him, I wouldn't know what to say," The Doctor said.

"Anyone got any ideas?" Rain asked. 

"One," Kane said looking at the two.

"he has spent more with you two than the rest of us, you have to know something you can say to him," Kane said, Stella and Rain looked at each other, then at Charlie, Rain let out a sigh of defeat, The two went over to Charlie, Stella leaned down.

"Charlie it's alright, you're among friends here, remember," She said.

"You confided in us, you trusted us, we want to help," Rain said.

"Charlie? what's wrong?" Stella asked.

"you all hate me," he mumbled, just loud enough for them to hear.

"What don't be ridiculous, Why would we hate you?" Stella asked.

"Because I left them behind, on the other side," Charlie mumbled.

"other side?" Rain asked.

"The Portal, he left the other on Earth," the Doctor said.

"Charlie none of us hate you for that, we know why you did it, to save them, to save an entire world. how could we be angry about that,"  Stella said, Rain and Stella placed a hand on Charlie's arms.

"come on, we've got another world to save," Rain said, Charlie looked up and took a deep breath.

"yeah that sounds like a plan," Charlie said, he stood up, and took a few more deep breaths, "you needed something?" he asked Ciara.

"yeah I want some wine before we start," she said, the doctor quickly repeated the instructions.

"come on then," Charlie said. a few minutes later, the TARDIS started to groan as it landed.

"Okay that's it we're in the Nerther we should be somewhere in the Nerther fort," The Doctor said, he opened the door and stuck his head out of the door, Charlie was about to pull him back but he came back in. "well I'm slightly off, we've ended up in the what looks like a vault," the doctor said.
